Bernat Blanket Extra Yarn, Gray Orchid, 10.5oz(300g), Jumbo, Polyester

I make school-colored mascots for my kiddo’s sports teams, and this yarn is awesome. It sheds a little bit when sewing in the loose ends, but I increased my needle to the extra large plastic Clover ones, and that helps. It’s soft and very cuddly yarn.

I like the Blanket Extra for my projects. It’s heavy enough to create substantial blankets, but not too heavy to work with. I’ve crocheted blankets for myself and a few for gifts.

I had never used this yarn before, let alone never knit a throw. So easy to work with and so soft and cuddly. Making it for my granddaughters bridal shower.

I knitted very nice blanket of this yarn 🧶! It turned out warm, fluffy, and very cute. Great addition to room decoration and cozy for chilly mornings and knights ♥️🧶

I had a few skeins of this yarn and started a blanket for a great granddaughter. I had to order additional skeins as what I had wasn’t enough. It makes a very heavy blanket. The yarn is very soft, but quite large. The reason I gave it 3 stars because I think the yarn is just too big to make a nice blanket. The regular blanket yarn is more suitable.

I love this yarn for quick projects! It is easy to use and works up quickly. Only thing is that I have had a few skeins that have unraveled. And unfortunately after the project was complete. When the yarn was cut during the finishing off it started falling apart and couldn't be stopped. The center treading disappeared and could find a solid end. I've used the yarn on several projects and had this happen twice.

I ordered this for a blanket I needed to finish for a graduation present that was a very special blanket and I ordered a month early so it came in time and it arrived a week and a half late!! So it was over a week and a half AFTER graduation that I revived it! And sent emails with No return email!! Your online store SUCKS!!!
