Bernat Blanket Yarn, Dark Gray, 5.3oz(150g), Super Bulky, Polyester

This is like a chenille yarn, really soft and works up fast. Quite different from regular yarn that is sort of stiff. I made slippers from this type and they are so cute, and now I'm making a multi color fall throw rug which will be quite soft and comfortable to walk on.

Bernat blanket yarn is one of my favorites to crochet with. I use a larger size hook with it. I like how fast it is to make a project with this yarn. I bought this yarn to make afghan with. Working an hour or two a day I have almost finished it in about two weeks. I also like the overall softness of this yarn. It is fluffy and not too heavy.

This yarn is thick but soft. The thickness helps get your project done faster. However, it also runs out quickly.

I am a novice (at best) at crotchet work, but all of a sudden have gotten into making blankets. Started with a baby blanket and since have made two full size ones. All with Bernat Blanket Yarns. The yarn is very easy to work with and finished product easy to care for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time using a chenille-type yarn. Takes a little getting used to, but easy to work with. The yarn is very soft and the color is amazing. I chose "Fall Leaves" per a request for an autumn blanket. It's perfect. The color is brighter and not as dark as online. Colors are bright orange, burnt orange, olive/camel (depends on the light) and dark brown. I'm using hdc stitch and a larger hook size (N-10mm) after making samples. The result is a cozy, plush fabric.

So soft and a lot better price through Walmart then other craft stores. Also in store pickup experience was wonderful.

The colors are beautiful and bright and the yarn is cushy and soft. This one is slightly thinner than other blanket yarns from bernat, but it wasn't noticeable in my final project, just in the hand

When I saw this yarn, I knew they were the colors that I needed to make a blanket for my sister in law. The colors were so vibrant on line. I was a little disappointed when I actually saw the product. Colors were not as vibrant as I saw on line. They were a little dull. I'm hoping when I finish the blanket I'll see some of those vibrant colors that I loved. Sorry, don't have a photo yet.

I ordered 3 skeins only received 2 Paid too much for them the 2 I got $12.00 or something like that they were only 5.3 once's I normally get the 10.6 for $9.99. Very disappointed
