Bernat Fabwoolous Yarn-Cream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago to make a crochet kimono pattern which called for it. The yarn is soft with a lovely sheen. I haven't washed it yet, but I can already tell from the texture that is won't pill, which is great! I bought the color Oats and it's a perfect neutral color for an over piece I plan to wear a lot.

This yarn is soft and easy to work with. It has a bit of a sheen, but not bad. It is a slightly heavy #4 weight.

I found two skeins of this at my local yarn store and I started working it thinking that I was going to make machine knit hats with it. After touching the knit fabric I decided that I was going to make a blanket so I bought more. Adore the yarn, it was very easy to work with. Gorgeous results. I just wish that there were more colours!!!

Received the skeins today and started my project. The colors are great, although Sea and Brick Red are darker than they look online (my house isn't as well lit as the photos). The Bright Gold was pretty close, but that's the one I wish was darker. I'm very careful to watch for splitting, which can occur, but I like the fiber blend (acrylic and wool) and the feel so much, that I'm willing to deal with it. I wish there were more colors available. I wouldn't pay full price for this yarn, but I felt the sale price was reasonable.
