Bernat Polyester Blanket Yarn (150 g/5.3 oz), Oceanside

This yarn is thick but soft. The thickness helps get your project done faster. However, it also runs out quickly.

I am a novice (at best) at crotchet work, but all of a sudden have gotten into making blankets. Started with a baby blanket and since have made two full size ones. All with Bernat Blanket Yarns. The yarn is very easy to work with and finished product easy to care for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time using a chenille-type yarn. Takes a little getting used to, but easy to work with. The yarn is very soft and the color is amazing. I chose "Fall Leaves" per a request for an autumn blanket. It's perfect. The color is brighter and not as dark as online. Colors are bright orange, burnt orange, olive/camel (depends on the light) and dark brown. I'm using hdc stitch and a larger hook size (N-10mm) after making samples. The result is a cozy, plush fabric.

So soft and a lot better price through Walmart then other craft stores. Also in store pickup experience was wonderful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've using the Blanket yarns for a few years now for plush toys and they're my favourite to work with. (Both for personal and Gifts/Markets) Soft and work up nice and big. Lots of colours across the different lines (Baby, Brights, etc.) Only downside is that I wish the small balls came in more of the colours since I often only need a bit of each colour for a single project.

The colors are beautiful and bright and the yarn is cushy and soft. This one is slightly thinner than other blanket yarns from bernat, but it wasn't noticeable in my final project, just in the hand

The Bernstein Blanket Yarn has a nice price and great feel. I crocheted a blanket for an expecting mother and she fell in love with the feel of the blanket. Thanks

The yarn itself is great, but the color I chose (cranberry) is a very very different shade of red in person than what it shows on the website. The website shows a very bright red, what came was a deep red/purple. A little disappointing, as I needed a specific red for a project.
