Love the velvet wool for making throws

I first started working with Bernat Velvet Yarn about 3 years ago. I love working with this. It is scrumptous as it flows through your hands. The yarn holds up well, doesn't fall apart. I will continue to buy and work with this yarn as long as I can find it.

I bought this yarn, probably over a year ago as a beginner. Initially, I found it difficult to work with because it's hard to see the stitches, and having said that I would not recommend this yarn for a beginner. However, the velvet is softer than anything else I've found as far as yarn goes. A year later and having improved, I now have no problem finding my stitches. The yarn is beautiful and worth every penny.

There has not been one person who doesn't absolutely love the feeling and warmth this yarn provides. If it is ever discontinued, I would be heart broken along with anyone who has received or purchased the items I make it.

The stuffies turn out perfect, all the sewing disappears into the project, leaving a beautiful completed stuffy. I hope they continue to make it and expand the color options!

I enjoy working with chunkier yarn. This one is soft and slides easily on the needles. You need an 8mm/11 US size needle but a smaller one might work okay as well. Arrived faster than projected. Thank you

I have used this yarn to make 3 baby blankets and plan to make one more. The yarn is extremely soft and makes a gorgeous blanket. Sometimes it's challenging to work with but the end product is worth it.

I love workibg with velvet, although i typically double strand it, but these colors are so vibrant i didnt know yarn came in such beautiful colors. My only regret is not getting more

I love this yarn. I make stuffed dogs that I donate to my local children's hospital. It is so soft and does not irritate their skin. Washes well. But I am having a hard time finding it lately.

Love the feel of this yarn. Incredibly soft and thick yarn. I bought the pink, which is a pretty dusty pink shade. I don't recommend this yarn to a beginner, it tangles easily and you have to pull your stitches tight or it leaves unintended loops of loose yarn, especially with knitting, crocheting is a little better. It is also hard to see your stitches because it is so fuzzy (black is the worst). However all that aside, I would buy it again, because I love the feel of the finished product.
