Great value!
I use a lot of this yarn. I crochet and sell toys, and this works very well for larger projects. It's soft and works up very quickly. I wish there were more colours available in the value size balls, but that's my only complaint :)

Lovely yarn to work with
Bernat Softee Chunky is my go to yarn for sweaters, afghans and blankets. Its is to work with; knits up fast; and can go in the washer and dryer so its perfect for items for babys and young kids.

Nice chunky yarn
Love this chunky yarn. Makes great blankets. Have made blankets eith a few different stitches or colour combos. always easy to work with. Much cheaper than some other bulky yarns

Close to perfect!
I had been looking for this yarn for years in order to finish an afghan I had been working on for 3 years. When I realized that I didn't have enough yarn to finish it, I found out that Bernat was no longer making the chunky yarn in aran. I took the chance by ordering it through Walmart and and was pleasantly surprised that it will work for finishing the afghan.

Made a beautiful sweater for my grand daughter it will be the perfect weight for her for spring and fall. So soft but will be easy to care for

Colour is really nice and it works up well. However, I gave it only 4 stars because if you need to undo even a few stitches, the strands come untwisted pretty easily.

Not soft at all.
Love using this yarn, wish it was softer. Not sure why they call it Softee Chunky, it is rough to the touch.
