Our nephew has this scooter and it's fabulous so we knew we were getting this one for our kiddo when his other one broke. No assembly is needed as it comes assembled; arrives in its folded position. Our 5-year old kiddo and 6-year old nephew love this scooter.
Love this scooter for my 7 year old grandson he rides it after school and tells me how much fun it is!!! I literally removed it from the box and pushed down to unlock and it was ready to go no assembly required! You adjust the height of the handle bars only! Nice wide foot base and the wheels light up as you ride! Perfect for a young child!!
The best thing is the storing of this scooter. I live in a small condo and being able to fold and store it in a small space like under the bed is great. I bought them for twin boys and each found a feature that helps them learn to ride. One uses the rear foot brake because he tends to go too fast. One uses the height adjustment because he is shorter. He also uses the wider board to help keep his feet on it and helps him to get on and off of it. They both love the light up wheels. Most importantly they have so much fun riding their scooters.
The Bersey Three Wheel Kick Scooter is a fantastic first scooter. It is nicely weighted, sturdy, easily assembled, and easily adjusted. It has light up wheels, a wide footboard, and it turns easily. My 2 year old son figured it out right away and absolutely loves it. It also works well for my 6 year old son. I would highly recommend this scooter.
The age range I saw when receiving this was 3-10 but my 11 year old really enjoys it. I have two boys (11 & 8) and they ride around on this all day. They take turns but bicker a lot about it because they love it. We have tile floors and they just go around the house with it because it's been so hot outside, but it does work fine outside too. One reason I like this style over their 2-wheel razor scooters, is that when you pick this one up it doesnt swing the deck around and clock you in the ankles!! It doesn't spin at all actually because the steering is by leaning (and the wheels turn) and not by twisting the handle. It also doesn't fall over when you get off of it!! So it's not laying flat on the ground to be tripped over when not in use. It also seems more stable when riding than a 2 wheel scooter. The wheels light up which is fun but my kids would've enjoyed it regardless. It seems well made. The handle is adjustable. I wish it went up a bit higher but it's not really designed for older kids/teens anyway.
Fun and durable Grandson uses the scooter multiple times a day, having fun and enjoying the colorful wheel lights. It allows for reasonable turns making for a smooth ride. He found it fun to use it on a circular track, allowing him to ride safely and expeditiously. Still durable after multiple use. Great quality!! Kids love it.. We love it, so easy for kids to use. Looks like it is built to last. Good and reliable...
Bought for my granddaughter who was growing out of her bluey scooter and turning 6 and wanted a big girl one. This one adjusts to several heights as they grow! It is built very well and made of metal not plastic like the others. The lights are so bright and super fun. Definitely recommend!!
This is the best scooter for my 5 year old daughter. The handles can be adjusted to four different levels and it helps because she able to move it as she grows. The wheels have LED lighting and they light up and she moves along. There is a brake in the back wheel in case if she wants to stop. You can also fold it for easy storing.
It’s a nice scooter. There is a sharp learning curve for younger kids because you have to lean into it to make the wheels turn left or right. The lights are fun for riding at dusk.
I purchased this scooter because of the three wheels. My grandkids are age five and haven't learned to balance yet, which was a great decision. This particular scooter's handles do NOT turn. To turn you have to LEAN to the left or right, which takes some learning and practice. I don't know if I had known this, if I would have purchased. I figured since my grandkids are young and this being their first scooter it would be an issue. With time and practice they are getting the hang of leaning and using the brakes. The handle bar is adjustable which is great since the grandkids are different heights. The scooter folds up which is great because it takes up less room and makes it easier to store and transport.
