For low level lighting the lights in the umbrella are great. The light is strong enough that it slightly illuminates my bushes which are 20 feet away. The battery is about the size of AA batteries and provides over 4 hours of light. The shaft was a stronger metal than I expected and the cloth was pretty thick. It's pretty good at repelling rain some drop have made it through the cloth in very heavy rain but I'm sure a can of water repellant can fix that. This 8' umbrella has some weight to it so make sure you have a heavy enough base. I've only owned this umbrella for a month now so I can't review its longevity. I will say if you are a restaurant or bar owner with outside seating I would definitely suggest this umbrella.

This umbrella is absolutely amazing! Was afraid it wouldnt be high quality, but I was pleasantly surprised it was as good as (or better) than other high-priced umbrellas Ive bought in the past. Perfect buy! If your hesitating, trust me its worth it!

It looks amazing! So many ppl leave negative comments about how they break. You just need to take it down before storms and higher winds. Its absolutely stunning! Love love! (I didnt have it cranked fully in the photo) the lights are not bright more or less just a nice accent and looks sharp

Love this umbrella! It's made of high quality materials and the lights are big and bright. I have it next to my Hot Tub so at night the lights are so pretty. The set up was easy. It took me a couple of days to figure out that it has a on/off button for the lights so I thought it was not functioning at first. Just my error for not reading the instructions thoroughly. The price is amazing for this well made umbrella with lights! You will not be sorry if you purchase this!

This a great umbrella! At first I couldn't figure out how to use the lights. But I read a few reviews and it turns out that you have to pop off the solar panel located on the top of the umbrella (nothing scary). Once I did that the lights turned on and they are beautiful at night! My umbrella is located on my deck so the tilt works great but you have to have some upper body strength to tilt and untilt the umbrella This umbrella covers a lot of space!

We love it!!! Living in FL, we love to sit by our pool in the evenings having happy hour with our neighbors. This umbrella gives enough light for the ambience we were looking for.

I have bought two of these exactly alike. The reason for the re-purchase is that the first one broke when I left it open during a really bad wind. The tilt mechanism broke. If you have ever had a patio umbrella, you know that part breaks on every single one of them eventually. I wish I could buy one without that feature but the ones without are usually smaller and I like the bigger size. I repurchased this one because it is a good umbrella at a great price. No problems whatsoever other than that one issue which is not different than any other umbrella with the tilt. The crank works easy. The led lights are not really all that bright, but make for a nice look at night. The blue color is pretty; and, although it will fade over time, it holds up pretty well considering we leave it out year round. Would I purchase again? Definitely! (Obviously!) It was super easy to order off the website and free shipping made it a no brained!!

I really like the umbrella but it's definitely NOT BURGUNDY it is red. I'm not wasting my time, money or energy to ship it back. I'm a little upset that it's not the correct color so I can't give it 5 stars. Installation was easy, a hammer may be needed to get the bottom pole to snap in place. The lights work fine (daytime install) hope they look better at night.

Super easy to put together everything worked perfect .. the button to tilt is a little high and awkward to get to with the table .. the arms seem a little flimsy but so far it’s great .. the top section is easy to remove and put back on .. lights are as I expected overall happy with the purchase

So far, we’ve only used the umbrella about 6 times and lit the LED lights maybe twice and everything has worked really well and as advertised, however it feels like whenever I crank the umbrella open, the mechanism is about to break. It just seems like it’s a bit cheap mechanism.
