This review is for the pink Musical Kids Electronic Keyboard with Microphone. This keyboard has 37 piano keys and so many customizations to it. It can record and playback music, has different rhythms already recorded, six drum buttons, etc. There really is a lot to this electronic keyboard. When I first got it I was pretty busy with other things and so I waited a few days to put it together. I figured it would be one of those toys that take awhile to put together. Not sure why I guess that is just what I am used to. However, I was very wrong. If I would have known it would have taken me 5 mins or less from unboxing to having it together and working, I would have put it together sooner haha! It seriously is that easy. It is packed very well so the items do not get cracked and it really is a matter of pulling them out of the styrofoam, placing the batteries and snapping a few pieces together. You will need a phillips head screw driver to open the battery compartment. Speaking of batteries, you will need (4) AA batteries, not 6. My compartment (as you can see from the pics) only took 4 batteries. Unless I overlooked another piece that needs batteries, I only saw the need for 4. The product description on Amazon says 6 and the box actually says 6 too. So I am unsure. The batteries are not included with this toy. The only negative things I could find so far about this toy is that it is really loud when you first turn it on, even if you had the volume lower the last time you used it. Also, the stool is a little on the short side. It needs to be a tad bit taller in my opinion. These are not make-or-break issues for me, though. I feel like this is a pretty nice keyboard and has great features for the price point. It would be a good toy for babies that are just learning to stand up to older children. I know our 3 and 4 year old will both love playing with this toy. I definitely recommend it. I received this kids electronic keyboard for free but I am under no obligation to write a review. The choice was purely my own and I received zero compensation.
I bought it for my 4-year-old granddaughter's birthday, but her 2-year-old sister totally stole the thing. They both love it, and I think it's great for the price. The variety of activities keep them happy for quite a while.
My granddaughter loves it. Plays with it everyday.
Great creative musical toy! Sturdy and so many ways to sing and make music. My granddaughter loves it!
It was easy to assemble and my 5 year grand daughter was able to understand how to use it very quickly. She has gotten a lot of fun out it already when she gets it from school she goes right to it and starts to play with it.
He has not stopped playing this since Christmas. The microphone stand does not connect and constantly falls off
Would I recommend this at its original price of $115, no, but we got it on sale for Black Friday for $59 and I'm okay with that. It came with a seat for the kids to sit on and they play with it incessantly so it's getting its money worth. The piano itself just sits snugly into the stand so it does fall off easy and the seat comes apart easy too, which is why I gave 4 stars, but overall my kids love it and that was the goal! For reference, My kids are 3%264 and they fit perfect.
This keyboard is just what we were looking for. It was easy to assemble and even age-appropriate for our music-loving 15-month-old. The keyboard has several features that keep her attention and allow her to make music in her own way. The only critique, though, is that the microphone volume is not what it could be. The microphone sound is overpowered by other features in use. Other than that, we are pleased with this holiday purchase and have plans to make another kid's instrument purchase for our daughter's 2nd birthday.
It is a great product the. My 21 month old son loves it. The only complaint I have is only one speaker works. It is loud with that one speaker so I'm not complaining but I would like to get a new one. And the stool should have a grip at the bottom so it won't slide.
It's cheap looking, and cheaply made. The box says it takes 6 batteries even shows a place for 6 batteries but only holds 4. The keyboard doesn't securely hold the legs. So every time my 2yr old tries to get up the keyboard falls. The microphone in on a holder that is also not secure and doesn't really fit in the hole. The volume resets itself after just a few minutes to the loudest setting possible. Not one setting sounds like a keyboard. Yet my daughter likes to play with it. I bought this one b/c it said it was $119 on sale for $49.95 I would be very very disappointed if I paid $100 for this I'm not happy spending $50. Would I recommend this no!!!! Spend the extra money and get a name brand better made keyboard
