Served right for a huge 8x11 umbrella with 2 inch pole.
The best umbrella stand I have ever seen. Stable due to the weight, yet easy to move due to the castors.
Well made, locking wheels keep it stationary even in higher winds. Base pole not too tall. Tried 3 other brands this one the best.
I love this. Nice and sturdy against strong winds! My patio is on the corner of my house and really open to all the elements, especially strong winds! Nice that it also has four wheels with brakes!!! I am a very happy Customer.
Very heavy and stable. Easy to assemble. Screw on the locking wheels and the umbrella tube then it is ready for use. Will not roll away and umbrella won't tip over on a windy day. Definitely would recommend to others.
I love this! Very strong and heavy, the wheels are the best. Always trying to move umbrellas around a bit to follow the sun. Heavy stationary stands are great until they are not. Moving is difficult and hard on the me and hard on the stand. But these wheels eliminate those issues.
I have three of these and they are great. Heavy enough that they don't move in our strong winds yer easily rolled when I need to relocate them. Two of the wheels lock to be sure they stay in place. There are two handles that can be pulled up when I need to use them to pull the base over my pavers where there are openings between the bricks. I have two umbrellas that do not have cranks, these bases are so sturdy that I stand on them to reach high on the umbrella pole to release the spokes to close it. When they were delivered I asked the driver to lean the box on its side. As I am a senior female weighing 100lbs, I couldn't the base myself. So, I removed the side of the box that allowed me access to the bottom of the base, screws in the wheels, then tipped the base onto the wheels. Easy!!!
Holds my 7ft umbrella nicely and the base stays in place. I love the compact profile of the base compared to others I have seen. The wheels make it very convenient for moving my umbrella to different spots on my paver patio. The only minor downside/inconvenience is that depending on the position of the wheel, locking it can be a little challenging.
[instruction] manual deficient. They dont warn you they include extraneous plastic parts intended for an alternative umbrella you may not have. It is possible to assemble the base with the wrong (excessive) parts but the base will quickly fail to hold your umbrella. Also, like other reviewers I found that the instructions omission of how to use the extra 4 nuts was very very bad form for this company. Fire the person (even the CEO) who let this poor manual stand as is.
Not suitable for tilt type umbrella although suggested by vendor.
