We got this for our grandson for Christmas, and it quickly became his favorite gift. He's an up-and-coming middle school basketball player, so having something like this at home to practice with has been perfect for him. The construction is solid, and the back panel feels sturdy during play. It was also super easy to put together, which was a nice bonus. One important tip, do NOT take a shortcut and fill the base with water. We made that mistake on a previous hoop, thinking it would be easier than using sand. It worked fine through spring, summer, and fall, but once winter hit, the water froze and shattered the base. Definitely stick with sand to avoid that problem. Overall, this has been a great addition for practice at home, especially for kids who are really getting into basketball.

For the price, it's perfect! We bought it for our 8!year old grand daughter, and it is working well. Easy to assemble with clear instructions.

It was a gift for my kids. I like that the height is adjustable and it is pretty sturdy.

i love the quality of this hoop however there are no instructions on how to set it up to be adjustable. it came with adjustment links but no instructions on how to make it work. also the gel that comes with it does not work and it's extremely top heavy.

Whoever put this together put the backboard on wrong, painted lines are on the inside when they should be facing out.. I can't even get it apart to switch it because of the sticky tape that's holding it on, I don't want to ruin it by trying to pull it apart… just make sure the people making these things are doing them correctly… besides that I don't see anything wrong with anything else…

This is not a very user friendly design. . In order to raise and lower the rim, you have to remove the bolts, disassemble the pole(it's in 3 sections) then re-install the bolts. I would not have purchased this if I had paid more attention to the listing I guess. I do not recommend this at all

Purchased this for my 13 year old son. Purchased in January 2025 and now it June 2025 and the back board is broken. If I had known the warranty was ONLY 60 days I would have purchased from a different company. When a company will only stand behind their product 60 days when it is clearly faulty, it says a lot about the products they sell and their company. Don't waste your time with Best Choice Products, you'll be replacing it within a year. I'd also like to point out that the company didn't even offer for me to purchase a back board replacement. I miss the days when you bought something from Walmart it was actually Walmart selling it.

The post won't go on the other post due to a welding bead that is too thick. I've tried everything and it will not work due to a manufacturing error. Basketball goals are not things you want to send back. I'm not even seeing an option for return.

My husband got it put together and tried to fill it and there is a hole in the base! Now to get customer service to replace this product since it was a Christmas present!
