Not too soft or too firm. Fits my full mattress perfectly. There's a little chemical smell, as others mentioned in their reviews, but it went away very quickly, and I have a real sensitivity to chemicals. Doesn't bother me a bit. Flattened out easily after shipping and we were able to make the bed the same day it arrived. I have slept very comfortably on this bed after surgery.

I like the thickness of it the comfort of it and the price that I paid JCPenney's had a similar egg crate but for much more money and it was less than 1 in not as comfortable as what I received from the Walmart and the price so I took it back to JCPenney's and kept the one I got from Walmart

I have tried two memory foam toppers and they were hot and I felt "caught" in by them. This egg one is not only cool, but soooo comfortable! I LOVE IT! It doesn't feel like I am stuggling with the arms of a sea monster holding me in when I get out of bed either! Highly Recommend!

Recommend for young person. Put on granddaughters bed. It was only two inch mattress pad. Nice but need five inch for adults. Good quality and size. And good price. I remember when they used to be twenty dollars. Now double that price. Grateful for Walmart having options.

Arrived a couple days late, worth the wait. Shipped in good sturdy box, no damage. Easy to unroll and fluff up. We got the 3 in. size. So worth the extra 3 inches. Nice and firm but felt like laying on a cloud.

I ordered a 2 inch egg crate type topper and received this one which was a solid gel foam and looks totally different than what was pictured. I did not use it to be honest on the comfort, etc.

I really wanted to love this memory foam topper. But after 2 months of use, it already has a very significant dip in the foam, where I lay. I'm very sad that it definitely won't last for long at all. I try to not buy items and just waste them and contribute to the landfill— but I really needed this to sleep. Now I'm back to square one, looking for something that WON'T sag or make me sweat. Unfortunately, this mattress topper does both. ): Buyer beware.
