I have very hard water, and I was getting less than a month out of a fresh install of humidifier media. Then I started adding a little of this every time I added water. Looks like about triple the life for the media. Sure, this isn't cheap but neither is the media and it is messy to replace. I highly recommend using this product.

Product is great. Walmart service not so good. They did not have it on the shelf but I could order online and pick up in store. Resulting in another trip to town.

I have used this product for several years. I found that it does help decrease bacterial growth and sediment in humidifier.

I've used this product before from another vendor so I'm very happy with the product and mostly that I was able to find it at Walmart cheaper.

A must have if you're running a whole house humidifier. It extends filter life and stops odor and buildup.

Order was quickly expedited. The only issue was Walmart's incorrect address for me, which I had to correct in the settings in my account.. it caused my delivery to be to my neighbor.

This is a great product. This is another one that I've bought in the store before in the past and now is not available. It doesn't seem quite right that you're having to pay shipping to have it delivered to my front door! We wonder why prices of products are going up? I don't think I'm the only one using this product.

Helps keep buildup in humidifiers during the winter months we use it for. We also use a demineralizing capsule in with it too.

I honestly didn't know about how to answer the questions, because I never opened the product. When I received it, I was reading the cautions about if you got it on your skin, remove contaminated clothing and rinse area in cool water for at least 20 minutes and call a doctor or poison control. This product is designed to go into a humidifier where people would be breathing this in. I returned it because the cautions sounded too dangerous for something that would be going into my lungs.
