BestAir HCC31 Humidifier Demineralization Treatment Capsule, for All Types of Models — Residential Use, Standard Application

I've had this product in my humidifier for 3 weeks. Up to this point I have not had any white dust or crust build up on my humidifier filter. I have not noticed any foul smell from the water in the humidifier. This item claims to demineralize water and help with bacteria. So far it has done what was advertised. After the 30 day period I will remove this item and replace with a new one.

This little thing really makes cleaning the humidifier easier. you will still have to scrape off the minerals, but it is much easier when I use these. I usually use one or two during the winter, so they do last a couple of months, using the humidifier 24/7. I've tried the liquid "removers" and they are so caustic and such a mess to use, I gave up on them for the HCC31. Keep in mind that mineral buildup varies depending on your water source. You may have more/less luck cleaning after using these.

Although this product may be more expensive than comparables, it delivers excellent results.

Helped to demineralize the water as described, so far so good.

Use in Vicks Cool Humidifier and the HCC31 does the job well. We have very hard water and there is no mineral buildup at all.

It does help, cuts down on the dust by at least 50 %, but does not eliminate dust. Rather pricey for what it is.

My well water is too hard for this type of help.

I bought this to stop the white dust I get frommy humidifier. It's not working for me.
