these are excellent prns for your dogs they don't escape. they can be made very comfortable and for puppies it's good if they have accidents is easy cleanup. The only bad thing is the compartment of the tray depth
Great quality item for the price! Very sturdy! I purchased a 36" MidWest crate when my Boxer/Lab was 8 weeks. By the time he was 2 years old, he was able to bend to bend the sides of the crate using his body, in an attempt to get out. We also had to replace the plastic tray, because he chewed it to shreds. He has separation anxiety, so he must be placed in his crate when left for long periods of time; otherwise, he going to find someone's shoes to destroy. This crate is perfect. The plastic tray slides under a metal grate floor. I love that the top opens up, so if I need to arrange his bedding, or tend to him before I leave I can just reach in. A little bigger than what I thought, but works out. Love that it has wheels. This makes it easy to move when cleaning or to put the crate in another space. No problem putting this together. It took me and my husband about 20 minutes to assemble. I almost passed on this item, because of the reviews, but I am glad I went ahead and made the purchase.
Wow! This has to be the best kennel out there. I was very impressed with the sturdiness and quality, plus it comes almost completely put together. I used twine to hold all four corners together and then placed the top on and screwed it down as directed.
Very Good Quality Easy to put together however the holes where you insert the screws i had to spin my drill in a few because screws werent going all the way in which is the only reason I gave a 4 Start instead of 5. I purchased the 42 inch cage an it was much bigger than I expected which is great because I will not have to buy another at any point. I love the door on top features so I dont have to bend down much and I love that my dog cant get to the tray because he chewed the last tray to pieces. There is a slot to slide the tray out without having to go into the inside to get it out. Also my dog is an escape artist who keeps hitting the slide lock until he can get out but the lock on this one even I have to play with the lock to get it open. I will have to buy a cushion to go inside for him which is a journey in itself because he likes to tear things up.
This crate is great for my husky. He had plenty of room and can not escape from it. The bars are very sturdy. The only con when putting it together the holes didn't align together perfectly they were slight off but it still worked. I also received it with a bar bent but it was still usable so I kept it.
The quality is very good, but I gave a low score because the shipping process was very disappointing. I placed this order the morning of June 27 and it was indicated that it would arrive on July 2. I ordered it for the expressed need of overnight visitors who had a large dog, and who were arriving on July 2 and staying through July 6. I did not receive the kennel until July 6 - after they left. Very poor communication on the delays. Detailed information on the tracking indicate it sat for a couple days at three different locations. Very disappointing.
It was not hard to put together but I have a large dog an his feet get stuck in the cage, he cannot be left out alone while we are at work. A bar also came off the bottom of the cage broke off an my dog does not dig at this but I'm more confused on how they didn't place the bars close enough together or an option to put the pan on top of the bars like I said my dogs toes, paw pads are getting stuck an he cries out he's a large dog almost 100 pounds with big feet so I know he's not to small for it
The cage had rust, the wheels were hard to put in the wholes. The cage in the buttom where the tray goes was badly dented. I need the cage as emergency and the product was mistreated way before it got to my home it was delivered today and it looked like it was already used. Paid 200 dollars for this obviously bad shape cage. I am debating to changing it since we have fires all around us here in California
So I think this cage will work nicer than the last one that I had but when we went to put it together we had only been sent 8 of the necessary bolts instead of 12. Let me just say this is incredibly frustrating especially since I will now have to take them to the hardware store to see if I can match them. And of course I waited until Sunday to put it together. I live in a rural area so my local hardware store isn't open today. Definitely disappointed.
I purchased this cage for my puppy because he seems to be an escape artist on the understanding that this was meant for larger dogs. Within just a handful of days in the crate my 40lbs puppy broke the fragile welds on the side. I am very displeased that the poor quality of this crate. It looked durable when I purchased it but if it ca not hold a puppy it will not suit my needs.
