Best's Oven Roasted Bottom Round Flat Roast Beef, Deli Sliced (Plastic Bag), 2 OZ (56 g), 9g Protein Per Serving

This is far better than the prima della brand roast beef which is processed and FORMED like other cheap roast beef. Best's brand is a REAL roast and it might sometimes have fat and/or grissle, but it's sliced from a real roast, not a formed roast. It's also often $3-$5lb LESS than prima della. I recommend getting it sliced on %232 when your at the deli counter, no less than 1.5(shaved and falling apart). Rarely is it available for delivery when shopping online so I got lucky this time. I always buy 2lbs and have it put in 1/2lb bags, or do it myself when delivered and freeze all but 1/2 lb. It freezes well and thaws wells for later use. Great for sandwiches, making a melt, chopping and adding to canned soups which never have enough beef in them, and put a little on the frozen slider burgers which have very thin meat patty on them, my fav is on a yeast roll with whatever cheese I have, microwave for 30secs, best late night snack ever.

I love the fact that the meat was what i like. I like to see red in my roast beef even in any of my beef products. Only thing I need it was for it to be a little thinner. It was took thick and there is no were on the site i can make that request when ordering on-line for pick up. Other than that i would have given it a five.

I am a meat eater, so roast beef, ham, turkey. This roast beef is good for it's price per pound, but be prepared for a little fat and and parts of the cow, that get removed in the leaner cuts, it's the bottom of the shank. This tastes very good and is great with Swiss. I would recommend this for sandwiches on the go. Good for those on the fly moments or if you are too tired to cook. Great for the price and the cut

Way too chewy, don’t know why maybe needed to be cooked, fried in a skillet, don’t know took a bite and chewed it for like forever. So if you buy cook the fat out.

I purchased on line just to receive and see a mix of fresh red color and brown discolored, spoiled meat. It looked as though the meat was left out in the sun or heat. I received a refund no problem. Now im confused and angry, because 3 days later i told my daughter to pick up 2lbs of roast beef for me. She did, my son brings me the meat, i open the grocery bag and see 2 pks of discolored deli sliced roast beef. Then opened the meat pk, the smell hit me before I even put it to my nose. I Couldn't believe it, called my daughter, just to find out she purchased from the same Walmart location. Now im cursing, because i cant believe a person will sell something like this. I find it hard to believe No one knows this meat isn't good. AND IT'S FROM THE SAME LOCATION 3 DAYS LATER

This is the most fatty roast beef that I have ever had in my life. You have to yank it out of your mouth, unless you want to eat the whole thing. (This was even after I cut the fat off.) I will not be purchasing this again. Buyers Beware!

It was the worst I've ever had. I got sandwitch cut for my work lunches. The flavor was there but I struggled to cut it and it was harder trying to eat it. I won't do the brand again and I do NOT recommend it.

This is terribly tasting and rubbery. I will never buy this again. I bought this before, and it wasn't bad like this. Things keep getting worse while prices go up. PLUS, WHO EVER SLICED IT, SLICED REALLY THICK SLICES. LAZY. They need to allow customers to say how they want their meat sliced.

I ordered a pound only got 1/4 of a pound this was after my whole refrigerator freezer order was missing from my original order they wanted me to go to the store. I have a hard time walking. That is why I have it delivered to my door. That order was 200$ I think I was treated terribly I want my money back for my roast beef and be compensated for my time and trouble my dinner was Included in that order.

****SHOCKING GASP inserted here - this roast beef is so tough, one could make shoes, belts, even ladies purses out of it. After one manages to get past the leather-texture...then we must deal with the stringy and tough meat itself. My tastebuds were assaulted and they threatened to leave my mouth all together if I ever buy this make-believe roast beef again. It's great if you are looking for shoes, belts, driving gloves or even upholstery. But it's economic: one sandwich would take over a week to digest so just think of how much one can save on groceries.
