Bestway Flowclear 680 Gallon Skimatic Skimmer Above-Ground Pool Pump

This was a little tricky to get attached to my 8' poly-stock tank since it has a thick edge all away around the top. But, to have no tubes and how well it works it is worth it. The clamps don't screw flush so I needed to put a small rag to help make it fit.

Since it is plastic, I'm taking it out of the pool during the day. I would suggest buying 2 more filters so you can rotate them out. if the filter is clean, it pumps really well.

SO EASY to set up! Soon as I plugged it in I could see it working immediately! Very happy to have found this type of pool filter…using it in a stock tank pool, so NO DRILLING HOLES! Yay!

Using this skimmer on my 18' Bestway Pool. Works great. Def worth the upgrade. The skimmers that come with the pool are crap.

Easy setup. Instructions are a a little vague. It cleared up my stock tank pool quickly and quietly!

OK, so I am using the skimmer as just a skimmer. It does filter but I'm I have a sand filter as well. I just really needed it for the skimming of the top of the water so in my opinion, it does work pretty good for skimming the top of the water, I will say that I had to change the filter maybe like once a week once every two weeks I do notice that after about two weeks, it wasn't pulling as well so that's when I went in and I claim the filter and it went right back to, pulling the water really good and skimming pretty well. I will say that the only thing that I do not like having to use a screwdriver to un one screw in order to get to the filter, but that wouldn't deter me from the product I would recommend it to anyone I have a, 18' x 52” as far as the height of the pool and I will say as a skimmer works, I'm not sure about your filter like I said I have a sand filter connected to My pool As well.
