This is the 5th pool like this I have bought and kept up. This is our 3rd in 20 years. We replace them every 7-8 years just because the inside fades, the ladder gets worn, the pool settles or little holes start from years of use. If you are going this route and not having an inground pool installed then you simply can't expect it to last forever! For the price you can't beat these. If it is properly installed and PROPERLY CARED FOR it will easily last multiple summers! We have also put one like this at both of our parents houses for the kids to play in when they are there. Those last longer because they don't get as much use. With proper care and cleaning and winterizing these pools are the best! I will say however that we have had to buy replacement pumps twice. We bought a replacement for the one that came with it but it didn't last long either. We bought a heavier pump from a different company and have used it for years with no issue. (except the time it sucked a frog in and plugged up) but that was an easy, albeit gross, fix. So yes buy the pool, learn how to keep it up and plan on getting an after-market pump!
Great, big pool. It was very easy to set up and smooth out the bottom. Word of advice...watch YouTube videos on how to set up this pool. There are easier ways to set it up so you're not struggling when you get to the last post. We dug a 28" hole in the ground and set this pool in it. We DIY'ed a water fountain/sprinkler system and used the filter that came with the pool for that only. If you want a clean pool I suggest buying a salt water pump and sand filter. Don't use only what comes with the pool. The cover is super super hard to put on. We couldn't get it on. In the fall and winter we will get some help to try to cover it.
Love the pool but you do need to upgrade the filter and also make sure theyre are no sharp rocks or stickers beneath the pool before you set because it will rupture from even stickers (burrs). Also do not buy the warranty, they basicaly wont refund unless somthing malfunctions....seeing how its a pool the only thing you have to worry about is it ruptuing or possibly the beams breaking but that likely wont happen due to “malfunctions"
Received pool 4 days earlier than expected. Pool was pretty simple to set up except for the last pieces. (This is our first above ground pool) The liner had a small rip in a small spot when we got it but we went ahead and put it up and got some flex tape and used the attached patches. So far so good and I registered for the warranty on the liner that is included with the purchase. The pump works pretty good but it defiantly needs to be a little bigger. I will be looking at getting a new one in the next month or so. The instructions that came with the pool and pump really suck so I went onto YouTube and got a little more description on what was what. Ladder also is very weak and small.
We purchased this pool in May of 2020. This has been a great pool this year. We've owned Intex above ground pools prior to this. I would say that the metal frame on this pool isn't quite as robust as our previous pools as a couple of the top pieces have bent slightly when children have jumped off of the deck. I would recommend that you purchase a larger sand filtration pump for a pool this size. Other than those items, this is a great pool at a great price.
Had for a year this month pump went out last year they sent me another one no problem this year the legs are rusting they sent more legs but I have to drain to replace so I'm hoping it holds out until this winter . Upgrade to a sand pump so much better.
The pump that came with the pool isn't big enough to filter this pool and it only has one drain hole thats the size of a bottle cap it has taking 3 days to drain the pool and because the drain is so small and the pump is small i hafe to take a shop vac to get the algae built up at the bottom it's definitely been a headache but the size of the pool is awesome I enjoyed the pool for a month before i gave up and drained the water dont buy this pool unless you have the money to buy a bigger filter pump
box was extremely torn up, wasn't able to set pool up immediately due to site not being ready, when get it set up it has a pin hole in the pool I barely even noticed it but it is in a spot that it will more than likely get bigger, I did patch it but for the price I paid there should not be any type of holes I it!!!
The frame bent and broke after only two uses! Piece of crap! Because of Covin-19, I was refused a refund (even though I'd bought the warranty) and had to eat the cost! I'm STILL angry!
the pool seems to be pretty sturdy. I would NOT RECOMMEND this pool to anyone if you have trouble with parts. We put the pool together filled the pool with water and it was filled maybe an hour and 3 of the pool legs bent outward from the pressure of the water. I have tried and tried to order new legs through Bestway and tried contacting them and have not got no where!!!! I paid $758 for this pool and have not got to use it!!!!
