Better Built 48" Crown Series Side Mount Truck Tool Box

I bought this for extra storage on a travel trailer tongue, I mounted it, and relocated my battery to one end of the box. still had plenty of storage for my weight distribution bars and misc. other items to free up space in my storage units. I know I have seen alot of other reviews about these boxes being cheap and lightweight. But, now days all diamond plate boxes are extremely light weight compared to the ol days. This box is built as good as any out there and has good construction.

Great price and quality is also great. Was delivered faster than expected.

Just what I was looking for its the perfect size for my dodge ram and looks nice too. The mail delivery was rt on time and didn take long at all. I am very satisfied with the box and the price was perfect as well

You can't beat the on sale price for this truck mounted tool box. Its not top of the line, but for the marked down sale price I bought it at,its a great deal. The tool box did arrive with a couple dents, but my son said he could bang them out instead of going through the hassle of returning.

Not a heavy duty box, but I am using it like a car trunk for security. Would not recommend for heavy tools, etc. Installation instructions for side mount box not very good. Pre-drilled slots would have made installation with Grip Rite mounts much easier.

The box is not very heavy, about 30 lbs. It was easy to mount. Not a commercial grade by any means but a good box for the price.

Seems to be good product. The right rear corner was dent significantly. Used block of wood under lid and hit top serial times . Looks okay. This wAs probably done in shipping. Maybe cardboard corner blocks would help, while packaged, Needed to use so did not send back. Delivered as promised. Thank you

The top was dented a little, but the price was right and shipping was fast and free.

The box does not lock. The tolerances for the latches are off. When locked, the mechanism still has enough play where the lid can simply be lifted through without much force. There is no way to adjust.

The picture shows two handles and it only has one in the center. I need two to make it work on my camp trailer . Also both ends of the tool box were bent in, look like it got dropped twice.. The return was quick and easy to local WalMart.
