Better Built 70 SEC Series Low Profile Crossover Truck Tool Box

Let's face it, all truck tool boxes are about the same. The only thing that separates them is the latch/lock mechanism. Better Built has one of the best on the market. I highly recommend it. It is "Better Built" latches are infinitely better than the two previous boxes I'd purchased.

Have owned Box for almost a year now. Would recommend. Lid sturdier than any tool boxes I have owned before.

I would have given it 5 stars if it hadn't arrived like it had been handled by the Samsonite luggage gorilla! As other reviews of other brands, most state their toolboxes arrived dented and damaged from it no being packed well enough to protect it from shipping. I don't blame Walmart as it was oblivious it was packed by the manufacturer. Mine arrived with no less than four dents or bent lid lips. I was able to correct with some minor body work tools. I was unable to get one dent out of the lid, but with as many reviews that I had read about their dented arrivals, I didn't think a replacement would arrive in any better shape. This box was made very well and I probably would have had to return a lesser well constructed toolbox.

Good quality truck tool box for the money. I looked at others in the $300.00 range that didn't meet my standards. I'm glad I spent the extra $80-100. It did come with some minor imperfections/dents but nothing too bad. It's not a WeatherGuard, but then again, it was only half the price.

For the price you pay this is a very good buy. the reason I rated at 4 stars is because my box came with a couple scratches and a very small dent on the backside that sits out of view. In short if you want perfect buy something else like a Weather Guard. if you want functional and almost perfect at a great price point you can't go wrong with this box.

It was bent or dented in many places.. wasn't boxed well just a piece of plastic Nothing from keeping it from being Damaged!!

The tool box was the exact one that was pictured. The problem was that the top had a huge dent in the middle and the end was dented so bad that the lid would not open. When the guy at the store opened it up for us to look at it, there was padding all around the tool box except for the top. If they were packed better and more care was taken during shipping (fedex) then the boxes would arrive in great condition.

I can't tell you if the truck box is any good or not. I have ordered the box twice and both times the box arrived damaged. Not necessarily a Walmart issue as the truck box is just placed in a box and shipped. Nothing to protect it from damage. I am currently waiting only third box order that is now 4 days later than promised. I am quickly loosing faith with this process. If this box arrives damaged I will return and buy elsewhere.
