Better Dish Butter Dish with Flip Top lid

This might sound silly but I was really excited. I bought my first ever butter dish I'm 60 . Works as it should. it's white. it's made out of plastic. nothing fancy but it does the job for a butter stick. so yep I got my first butter dish at the age of 60. I don't know if that's dumb or not but it is what it is.

I bought 6 of these butter dishes as gifts! I am going to my granddaughter's wedding in Wellsville ny in October. I'll have lots of room in my luggage as I'll be gone for only a week. I like my butter dish so decided that since family here in Florida already enjoys the butter dish, I'd take some north for family there. It is so easy to use, one hand! Easy to clean!

the lid works perfectly, easy to operate with one finger. a vast improvement over my glass butter dish, 2piece, which is a pain to use--needs a whole hand--is breakable and a pain to clean to put in dishwasher. this one is also weighted pretty well, not inclined to slide when filled with stick(s) of butter. can also put salted/unsalted sticks in together if cooking a variety of dishes. seems as if it will be easy to clean.

I absolutely love this butter dish. It's replacing a blue one that I've had for a couple of years. Still works great but the cat knocked it on the floor and broke one of the hinges so I really needed to replace it. One of the amazing things is the cost. It's the same thing that other companies charge double or more for. The qualities is great, and the price is better and I would highly recommend it to anyone

As for my husband, specifically , it has restored his confidence in the kitchen. I highly recommend it!

And the literature directs the buyer to watch an online video of how to remove the lid correctly in order to wash the entire dish, which was very helpful. I've had many different styles of butter dishes over the years and thought my current one was my favorite until I saw this unique butter dish with a flip top lid. I can see that there's going to be a battle of the butter dishes in my home now.

oh I love it the butter just sits in the middle and there's a piece that connects the base with the lid and it all easily pops apart for cleaning and it's got a little bit of a thickness to it so it's not something cheap and thin. I totally recommend.

This product does a good job of keeping butter covered on your countertop. It opens easily and cleans easily. The only issue that I have that I use a wide buttering knife to butter bread. The knife doesn't fit in easily when the lid is up. However, the wide knife that I use also is made to cut bagels in half, so maybe it's wider than most buttering knives. A small thing, however, and I will keep using the butter dish.

The description indicates it allows two sticks of butter. If you close the top, it falls on the butter. Using only 1/4 pound works well and looks great!

plastic butter dish arrived broken . Also i was charged for litter i did not receive with this delivery. Because of this gaffe, to ordered MORE litter that is arriving today Sunday, May 3. I do not have litter so I ordered litter thru another source thats being delivered May 3 in the morning
