Better Homes and Gardens 7.9 Gallon Oval SS Step Metal Lid

I am a still a fan of stainless steel, as all of my kitchen appliances are stainless steel. I already have a stainless steel trash can in my kithchen so I put this in my laundry area. I like that the service is fingerprint resistant, the lid pops open with a push on the non skid pedal. It holds a 13-gallon trash bag and has a 7.9 gallon capacity. There is a interior pail that holds a cinching grommet( included; but you have to install). Very simple just push it into the opening which then allows you to push the excess trash bag into it keeping it securely in place. I have included a photo of the inside of the lid so you can see it is secured in place with screws. Looks well made. I have had this just over a week and use it everyday. Love the soft close lid. Looks good in what ever room you put it.

I received this Better Homes and Gardens Oval stainless steel trash can with metal lid and it is perfect for our school room. It looks great in our space and it is the perfect size for our busy days. It's so nicely made with such great quality. I love the hands-free function for when we are working on messy projects. I also love that the lid does not slam shut when closing. This can is super easy to change bags and they don't slip and fall off the rim when being filled. This Better Homes and Gardens Oval stainless trash can would also make a great kitchen trash can too!! It's super easy to clean and wipes off nicely. It definitely has that modern up-to-date look and seals nicely when closed. Overall, I love this trash can. I would definitely recommend this to others.

I had one from Walmart before and used it for years! This one definitely is an upgrade because of its oval opening. It allows for me to place larger items in such as take out boxes. It is great for a family of 5 and I only need to take out the trash once a day now. Would recommend!

Sleak shiney metal trashcan. It iss oval shaped with a foot pedal to open the lid, hands free. Its a decent size for a week of trash, especially if you cook a lot. What I like most is the fact that you can remove the inner hard plastic container to rinse in the event that the trash bag has leaked. There is a the pinches the trash in place so it does not slip. Would definitely buy another one to have around the house.

OMG I love this trash can! No more touching a dirty trash can with my dirty hands just to throw something away. Just step on the pedal and the top pops open. No more gunk falling into the handle of my old flip-top can. This lid is smooth and shiny and stays out of the way. This good-looking trash can matches my stainless steel and black appliances and stays good-looking due to being extremely fingerprint resistant. And it holds ALOT of trash without spilling over or keeping the top open. The top slowly but firmly closes every time. The bag is easy to put in, stays put, and is easy to pull out. This is the perfect trash can. I wish I'd found it a long time ago! It would've saved me a lot of messy aggravation.

OMG I love this trash can! I love that I don't have to touch it to use it. I just step on the pedal and the lid pops open. Then it very slowly but firmly closes by itself. It's easy to put a tall kitchen trash bag in so it won't slip down, it holds a lot of trash, and then it's easy to pull the full bag out. The trash can is good looking and matches my stainless steel and black appliances. And it stays clean looking because of its resistance to fingerprints. Get this trash can. It will make your life so much easier.

This Better Homes and Gardens 7.9 Gallon Oval SS Step Metal Lid is fabulous! Hard to believe that a trash can be fabulous but this one absolutely is. It is in the shape of an oval so it has a lower profile than the old round type. It does not stick out into the room and it looks just great against the wall. It is so very easy to use. One really nice feature for me is that the lid closes softly and quietly. It is the perfect size for a standard 13 gallon tall trash bag. It is very easy to put in and changing bags is a snap. I cannot say enough good things about this trash can. I really think it is great and honestly give it my highest recommendation!

This is actually a nice looking trash can! It's sturdy and the quiet close is nice. The removable bin makes it easy to clean and it doesn't show finger prints. I gave it 4 stars because installing the trash bag took a little getting used to. Overall a great, clean, stylish trash can!

Overall, VERY good!! There is the removable plastic liner, that is of good quality, making it easy to clean when needed. It has a 'cinch' that allows you to gather your trash bag tight around the inner liner, and it does hold the bag securely in place. I really like the 'step on' lever to open it, it opens easily, and closes slowly when the lever is released. The stainless steel exterior is finger print resistant, and it REALLY is!! It wipes clean easily with a damp cloth! Now, the only 'con' I have with it.. it slides, slightly, on the floor every time it's opened. My kitchen floor is linoleum, perhaps on carpet it would stay put. I have been able to prevent that problem from happening, but it was/is a problem you should be aware of!! It's also why I didn't give a full 5 star rating. Over all, it will be a great purchase!!

Received my Better Homes and Gardens 7.9 Gallon Oval SS Step and has a metal lid. First I want to point out that there are really no instructions with it as to how to insert the bag. There is a small pamphlet on how to insert the cinch bag holder on the side of the can, but even those are not clear. So after much searching and fiddling with it I think I may have the bag installed. Instructions are greatly needed here! Otherwise the can is very nice. I have the one that uses 13 gallon bags. It is a polished metal exterior that is resistant to fingerprints. The can has a foot pedal that you can use to open the lid. It opens fast and hard but closes slowly to keep it from slamming. The base has rubber bottom that keeps it from moving around the floor. The looks and size of the can are attractive and can basically be used anywhere. This fits even in small spaces. Use it in the kitchen, bathroom, garage or deck. It is great for a deck because you can use it around the grill and not worry about animals getting into the can easily I Love this can, just wish there was a manual or instruction booklet. That is the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5.
