The box is definitely a “team lift”. Plan ahead for this. Assembly took about 12 hours by myself, I did need help at the end to connect the top bunk to the loft. The parts were all labeled well and instructions were clear. Delivery took over two weeks.
Excellent Quality. I usually don't write reviews, but this is the best-built piece of furniture I have ever put together. Everything fit perfectly. Instructions were easy to follow, and parts were well labeled, and the bed is extremely sturdy. The bed just fit my needs. I am proud of it.
This bed is perfect and the color is great. It took me about 4/5 hrs to put it together but i did do it alone (with help putting the bed on top and the mattress on). It seems a little wobbly but its nothing excessive and i honestly dont think my apartment floor is completely even. My son cant wait to sleep in his new bed tonight.
It was a LOT of work to put together but I love the end result. It is a little wobbly but I reinforced it some with some duct tape (I know, it doesn't look the best). I'm a 17 year old kind weak girl and I put the whole thing together by myself with zero help so I think anyone can do it. Also, you don't have to put it together exactly in the order that it says. I had to do it a little different just because I did it alone. I got the color grey and it's very pretty. You'll need a Phillips head screwdriver. That's all I can think of.
It does look nice, and the instructions are mostly easy to follow - a few things it should be labeled which way is up. However it took over 4 hours with two people working on it, and the hardware is so difficult to get in place tightly - in some cases, impossible to screw tightly with the Allen wrench provided. Even with my own longer ones part wouldn't tighten and is still lose - esp the headboard and footboard pieces. The whole bed is pretty feeble in terms of its sturdiness - it says it's rated to 250 lbs but it sways and rocks every time my 90 lb child climbs the ladder. It is serviceable; I don't think it's worth the money.
The bed was delivered a day late. It came wrapped with plastic wrap which was holding the box together. Once we started removing pieces from the box we notice damages to a few pieces and the mail piece for the bed is broken. I'm not upset about the minor damages, I'm upset about the major broken piece because they clearly had to see this when they wrapped the box back or if the damages occurred at the manufacturer warehouse. Either way someone seen the damaged product and should have reported it. Definitely wasn't worth the time nor the money.
This bed is made of very soft and brittle wood. It's almost as soft as balsa. When I tried to lift the top onto the legs the headboard snapped. I've zip tied it with gorilla glue. If it dries sturdy enough I will make some cosmetic repairs. There is no excuse for anything meant for children being this structurally weak. If I try to move the bed I can hear little micro cracks all over. The design of the bed is fine. It looks nice but, man that is some really bad quality wood. I don't have high hopes for it standing up to normal use.
I am beyond disappointed with my recent shopping experience with Walmart. I placed an order online on 3/14/25, and when my package finally arrived (LATE), it was clear the products inside had been handled poorly during shipping. Walmart uses FedEx for deliveries and since the box was very heavy, they dropped the bed off on the drive instead of bringing it up the porch with their dolly. The box was severely damaged, and unfortunately, so were the items. Legs were cracked and warped. Dents and scratched on other pieces. (See photos) Called Walmart Customer Service to get a replacement bed. Walmart provided a return shipping label and I had to repackage the box and set it out on the porch for FedEx to pick up. A replacement bed wouldn't be shipped until Walmart receives the first bed back. After receiving the first bed back, many days go by before they start the process of the replacement order. Finally I received confirmation of shipping with a tracking number from FedEx and an arrival date of 4/9/25. On 4/9/25 - I received notice that delivery will be LATE.... again. Delivery was suppose to be today 4/10/25, but instead I received an email that the bed was damaged AGAIN in shipping and the order has been cancelled and a refund will be issued - but I am still without a bed for my child. What makes this even worse is the lack of support I received when I tried to resolve the issue. I contacted customer service again and found it extremely frustrating on how long it actually takes to get a live person on the phone. The first Agent put me on hold to look into what happened and then hung up and never called back. I had to call in AGAIN and the only thing the second Agent could offer was to help me pick out a different bed. NOT HELPFUL. I have already done the research and looked through the products Walmart offers that will fit in my space and what's to stop the third bed from being damaged by FedEx in shipping. I am absolutely frustrated and disappointed by Walmart's handling of my recent order. After a month of dealing with shipping issues, damaged products, and poor customer service, I finally received a resolution — a $25 gift card. The offer of a $25 gift card is just insulting. It does not even come close to compensating for the time, effort, and inconvenience I endured. This experience has completely turned me off from shopping at Walmart online. A gift card does nothing to make up for the stress and hassle of dealing with such a poor customer service experience. I expected much better, and instead, I feel completely disregarded as a customer.
I didn't receive this bed the first time I ordered it on December 11. I reordered this bed on Dec 26- it's now Dec 30 and it hasn't been shipped out yet. I hope that it comes soon because it was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my 6 year old son.
Box was completely damaged and pieces were thrown in the box. Completely unsatisfied. I am hoping none of the pieces are damaged as there is not another available and I sold my daughters bed in anticipation of having a bed delivered in excellent condition. Price wasnt awful but for $200 you expect for the box to be in perfect condition!!!!
