Better Homes & Gardens 1" Gold Metal French Wrap Curtain Rod 42-120”

My first impression opening the box was that the color wasn't good. It's a very yellow toned "brass". But that's why spray paint exists so I finished the unboxing and the quality of this is outstanding! Truly! It looks much more expensive that it was and it probably the sturdiest curtain rod I've ever installed. I hung it without painting it and I will say while I'll most likely paint it at some point, the color doesn't bother me when it's hung on the wall. It just looks really high end designer.

Actually very impressed with the size of this rod for the price. It's hard to find one this length at all and all the others cost hundreds more.

This is a nice quality curtain rod and perhaps a bit shinier than I was expecting, but that's OK. It was helpful to have a middle rod and extra brace. My disappointmentment was expecting the curvature of the rod to help reduce light. It made no difference vs a regular rod. I've learned to extend the curtain rod out by 3-5 inches from window and increase it's height about 2-3 inches from ceiling. By adding blackout curtains and doing these remediations, there is a definite difference in reducing light!

Loved these! Pretty easy to install for my husband. Only complaint is that they aren't as dark of a brass I was aiming for. The BHG rings I bought to add to them are a different colored gold, but for the price and location of where they are located in the house I'm okay with. Just wish it wasn't so hard to tell color differences when ordering online!

The rod is exactly what I was looking for. Very pretty and fancy lol. However, the middle rod had rusty residue in one end that got on expensive brand new velvet draperies. Im def ticked off. Near one of the curved ends was a bit of rust too. Idk how but...its like they got damp? Why else would rust be in the tube? So just watch out for that before use. I had cleaned them after making sure it all assembled but I missed the ends of the middle tube since it was inside the others.

I ordered two of these and one came with the incorrect mounting bracket with no screw holes. Completely unusable. Buyer beware. A replacement has been sent to me, just double check the one you get to verify it functions first. They are simple, clean, and the price is right. QA needs some work.

This curtain rod is BEAUTIFUL and sturdy!! BUT it's a minimum of 125.5” NOT 120”…I waited over a week for this to arrive and it doesn't fit 😭 My wall is 124” and there is no way to shrink it to be smaller. The longer option has 2 fixed length rods that go on either side and a skinny one that goes inside of each, in the center, so it can expand - but there is no way to make it smaller. I'm so disappointed!! If you have a wall that this will work on, definitely get it!!

Scratched up , banged up, missing the center rod and looked like it'd been delivered and returned several times. Even the box was a crumpled mess held together by new tape over layers of old tape. Anything Walmart ships anymore ends up “lost” or “delayed” or never arrives at all. If/when it finally arrives the absence of quality control is like a smack in the face- THEN they make you pack it all up and take it to a FedEx store because of their failures.

It won't telescope. I've tried everything and can't get it to release so can't use it. So disappointed because I love the look of it and had a hard time finding one long enough for my patio doors. I saw someone else reported the very same issue.

They sent it to me completely missing the center piece. So after hanging brackets and putting on curtains I realize the center piece is missing. Everything in my order was either wrong or missing something
