Better Homes & Gardens 10 Cup Rectangle Glass Food Storage Container with Tritan Lid

I wanted to stop using plastics to store my leftovers. All the information out there suggests these micro plastics are not healthy. The best alternative is clear glass. I love the clear top with white trim. I like being able to see what is in each container. I also purchased several of the smaller version of the 10 cup container.

I am changing out my plastic for glass. I have tried 3 brands in the larger size, this, Emeril Lasasse and rubbermaid. Rubbermaid are hard to open after clamps seal them, Emeril the blue seal came out and isnt going in easily, I will ask one of my kids, if they cant get it I will reporpose the glass part but these PERFECT. No problems opening seals are staying in place. I guess I found my favorite brand.

This is a pair of 10Cup Rectangle Glass Food Storage Containers. I will use them for Sprouted cereal grain storage. The Lid is Tritan copolymer type plastic. For better understanding research Tritan. It has been around for at least 15 years. The glass container itself is fine. This was my main objective; the lid is for sealing out air but will not contact the food. The seals that come with the lid work alright, a little awkward to install. But only need to be removed to clean. The clamps work but are a little flimsy compared to what I am used too. I was looking to use in fridge, freezer and pantry. I do not feel comfortable using them in the freezer. Shipping went well, no damage, well packed. Under the conditions noted I recommend it as a good buy. I would have given 5 stars if some of the minor issues were not present.

The containers are great, but the lid flaps break off too easily. We've had ours for less than 6 months and 2 lids already have broken flaps just from regular use. Do not recommend.

Bought one previously and the lid snaps fall off and you can't get them to stay on I thought maybe it was just one defective product so I purchased another one. Nope, it's a defective item. They need to go back to the drawing board with the lid snaps because they do not stay on.

I love these, have bought in many different sizes! However after just a month of using the 10cup size , one snap on a lid has broken. I don't see an option to replace. So a big waste of money. Sad because we bought so many in different sizes, hoping the rest don't break. Really wanted to love these after spending quite a lot of money on so many

I purchased two of them. Within 2 weeks, one of the tabs that is pushed down to close the container broke off when trying to close the lid. About 1 week later, the tab broke off of the other container I bought. Once that breaks, the cover is unusable so it was a waste.

Better Homes should read these reviews and work on fixing the problem with the lid. The seal won't stay where it should and the white snaps are easy to break. I expected better than this. The glass part is nice no problems with it. We just use it as a serving bowl but I wanted a prep, cook, serve and store container so there wouldn't be so many dishes to clean up. I will not purchase any more of these.

The glass container is nice and sturdy, but the lining on the lid does not stay in place and therefore does not seal the container. I ordered two of these 10 cup storage containers and returned the first one within a few weeks, I am returning the second one after one use. I have only hand washed the lids,
