I love this candle. It is a citronella candle that is was suppose to use outside and it is repels mosquitos, and those candles really works as mosquitos don't like that smell. The candle has eesential oils that provide pleasent smell. Love design, so simple, unique and farmhouse style. this ceramic candle is perfect for patio tables. Before using candle always trin wick to 1/4 inch, and alsway keep away from children and pets for their safety.

The weather had already started to cool when I bought this candle. At the time, my need for the benefits of citronella (mosquito repellent) were pretty non-existent. But I love this Silk Jasmine scent - it's both refreshing and soothing. I put it in my enclosed patio and light it every now and then just to fill the air with its amazing scent. I'm also thinking of ways I can repurpose the container. When the warm weather returns, I will definitely be purchasing more!

I love this candle! First of all the scent is absolutely lovely, I can smell it even when not lit. The design of this candle is very classic, elegant and stylish. Looks beautiful in any home. The grey color also is just stunning..it works well with any decor. It is heavy enough that it stays still and is very stable. We have one in every room because it looks so expensive and elevates the room. I do think it also does work as a repellent for mosquitoes and feel like we've had less of them. Either way this candle is so pretty to look at that I'll keep getting more.

This review is for the Better Homes and Gardens citronella candle. It is a small candle measuring approximately 3.9 inches. The goal of this candle is to repel mosquitoes. Most citronella candles stink but not this one. It smells like silk jasmine from essential oils. After the candle is empty you can repurpose the ceramic pot.

This candle is absolutely beautiful. I love the glass holder, not only does it make it appear chic and modern but the color also makes it look expensive as well. The silk jasmine scent is very warm and inviting., so pleasant and unique, not the least bit overpowering. What I really like about it is that it smells just as good as when it is unlit. A lot of times I have bought candles that smell good before you light them, then it smells entirely different once they're lit and not always necessarily for the better. I also like that it is infused with citronella which is used to impel mosquitos and insects, making sitting out in the evenings that much more enjoyable. The glass jar itself is heavy which helps keeping it from tipping over easily. The whole candle itself, from the jar down to the wax is made of high quality materials which I wouldn't expect any less coming from Better Homes and Gardens. This candle would make a great housewarming gift or any occasion for that matter. I highly recommend this candle,whether you use it indoors or outside, it will surely lift your spirits.

The candle has a nice presentation and smells Great. Not the normal citronella candle I expected but so much better. No problems lighting. Did not burn too fast. I love the scent of mixing the three. It makes it very tolerable to have inside on sun porch. Even felt relaxing at times. I like the thick and heavy base. Goes well with my decor.

This is a nice and big candle. Quite a bit bigger than I was expecting. Seems like it would last a long time. It is December, so I can't speak for the mosquito repelling functionality, but citronella is well known to do so. So if you like to be outdoors in the summer, pick one of these up and don't worry about bites.

Unfortunately I am a little off season for the mosquito fighting abilities of this Better Homes & Gardens Citronella, Silk, and Jasmine 4.37oz Scented Candle in Gray however I can comment on its fabulous smell and sleek style. I can not wait for summer. This candle is so pretty compared to the Citronella candle of my youth. The smell is also a magnificent upgrade to the traditional Citronella candles of the eighties, nineties and early 2000s. This is such a scentational upgrade of smells, a light airy flower scent. I also adore that I can reuse the holder as a stunning planter. Multi use and reusability is such a huge factor nowadays. I try to do my part and when companies get on board and makes it easy to reduce, reuse and recycle I can tell Better homes and gardens has my back and is a company that not just looks at the long term effects they have on the planet but it also shows me they plan to grow with their consumers and stick around for the long haul.

This candle is 3" tall and 4" across. It's in a pretty ceramic container that will look nice on your outdoor picnic table or anywhere you need that added protection from bugs. It doesn't have a strong harsh smell to it. It's a jasmine and silk aroma that will not offend you if it is close by while having a picnic. I have put it on my outside table while I sit out in the morning to have my morning coffee and get ready for the day. You will enjoy this candle and not be bothered by flying insects.

This candle has a soapy, clean, and floral fragrance. I like that the candle holder can be reused for plants or other purposes when spent. The container is about as tall as my fist, so the candle is on the small to medium side. The container is a chalky matte light gray in person. Overall, this is a good candle!
