Better Homes & Gardens 11.8 Gallon Stainless Steel Semi Round Kitchen Step Trash Can

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago and I am so glad I did. I love the look of this garbage can. The stainless steel is gorgeous and the operation of the foot step is smooth and quiet both in open and close. I really love the inside features. There is an inner liner that is where you actually put your garbage bag. Zo of you get a RIP or tear your beautiful can stays clean. The inner liner slides in and out easily for cleaning as well. There is also a great bag locking ring that helps keep any size bag from slipping and falling into the can.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First I have to commend the company for placing it in a secure solid box preventing any crushing. Taking it out of the well-packed box there were no damages on the can itself. I love the fact that they thought about placing a catch hole for the larger bags as this prevents the bag from sinking to the bottom once you've placed an item in the can. The hole holds the spare bag part so there is no slipping to the bottom of the bin. I have been wanting a can that I can put along the wall of my kitchen, the foot pedal works wonders also. When I step on the pedal it does not slam the cover against the wall and when I release the pedal the top goes back into place slowly without making loud noise. This is a must have!!!

To those who cannot get the bag in properly, this is user error. There is a locking ring. Remove the ring, then remove rhe inner liner. Place the bag inside the liner, drape rhe top edge of rhe bag over rhe top edge of the liner, place rhe liner back into rhe can and snap the locking ring back into place

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the Better Homes & Gardens 11.8 gallon Stainless Steel Semi Round Waste Can. It is a great size for the kitchen. I love how the lid slowly lowers when you close it. If you have larger dogs, the lid works well to keep them from getting in the container. The trash bags release from the can easily. I actually saw/used this can at someone else's house and had admired it, so when I received it, I was very happy. I have already and will continue to recommend this to friends. I may even buy my mother the same can because it would be perfect for her.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this trash can. It's the perfect height for us. Extremely easy to use. Just tap your foot on the peddle. Very easy to clean as well. Trash bags are also easy to put in and pull out. I will definitely recommend this to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would have never thought I would be so excited to have this trash can! It's so fancy (at least to me). It pulls the kitchen together with its stainless steel. It is so much better than I ever had. It has a foot step so you can just toss the trash in without touching the lid. It comes in handy when you are always cooking. When you put the bag in it, it has a hole in the front to hold your bag in place on the inside. It is also so easy to clean! Just wipe it down and you are done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how this Better Homes and Garden Stainless Steel trash can is fingerprint resistant .I own a kitchen full of stainless products and cleaning them daily is a must beings i have a little one in the house .I like that with this trash can i don't have and added chore of cleaning it to get rid of fingerprints . The opening feature which is done by stepping on the pedal is nice and smooth and opens and closes perfectly .I like how i am able to remove the inside bin incase i need to wash it out and clean the inside .I like this beings i don't have to pick up and carry the heavy can .Just remove the bin and go. Goes great with my kitchen and other appliances . I have thrown out my other trashcan and now this will replace it

How do you put the bags in the trash can. It has a trash can inside the stainless steel trash can but you can get it out. I know it a simple process but can't figure it out. Love the size Help

It is big and holds a lot of trash. The downside is that after a few months of use, the plastic "casing" that is on the bottom of the pedal snapped and so the pedal fell off and the step on feature is now useless. Design flaw in the product. Wish I had gone with a more reliable product.

Like the first reviewer, I can't figure out how to get the bags in properly. The liner won't come out. Weird! I like the size, the look and the soft-close lid but so far, I haven't been able to use it. I'll go check out the other one that's in stock to make sure I didn't get a dud.
