Better Homes & Gardens 12-Piece Bamboo Melamine Dinnerware Set, Faux Brown Wood

I am very pleased with the appearance and overall assumed durability of this set of dishes. I was a bit surprised by the size of the "salad" plates, They are deffinetly generous in size. The outside is a creamy beige and the inside truely looks like realistic light toned wood. I am a fan of wood accessories, and these will look great alongside my mango wood pieces. I am happy with my purchase and will enjoy adding colorful fabric napkins a long side to fit the season.

Gave as a gift and she loved! We loved as well so ordered 2 sets for our home! Perfect lighter colored bamboo n contemporary ivory/cream texture on outside. Can work in many aesthetics from ocean cottage, modern, organic, boho! Very pleased. Almost like shallow bowl plates- great for all sorts food. Sandwich or pasta! The bowls are great for typical cereal to fruit ir ice cream. Great price as well!

i have a young son so my husband and i didn't want glass anything..but wanted to have nice looking dishes that we werent embarrassed about and wouldn't break. these are awesome!

This melamine set is amazing! I’ve never seen a set with deep plates like these. They’re sort of like a shallow bowl but plate size. Very very good to keep from spilling sauces, dressings, and other liquids onto my shirt which happens every time I eat it seems like! Lol! I love that they are dishwasher safe too but make sure you know that they are NOT microwave safe. That’s definitely not an issue with me because I would not be microwaving stuff in them, I have bowls and pans for that. I hope you can see the pretty granite outside and bamboo look inside on my pics. Pics don’t do it justice because they look even better in person!

I really love my Better Homes&Gardens 12-piece eco-friendly Bamboo Melamine dinnerware set. These dishes are beautiful and durable. The faux brown wood pattern is lovely and well-designed. One aspect I am particularly happy with is the textured exterior on the bowls. They are super comfortable to hold and the pattern so pretty. These are BPA free, non-toxic and non porous. So easy to clean and no worry of germs being left behind. Everything is lightweight and appropriately-sized. These are perfectly low priced and environmentally friendly. What more could you ask for?

This 12 piece Better Homes and Gardens melamine dinnerware set is hands down my favorite dish set I have ever owned. I received this set and have been using it for almost a year now and I absolutely love everything about it. The set features 4 large plates, 4 small plates, and 4 bowls. The large sized plates have plenty of space for a full sized dinner. The smaller plates are still large enough for lunch, smaller portioned meals, and sandwiches. The bowls are much larger than expected and hold a variety of things like soups, cereal, or salad while leaving space and room for you to eat without things falling out of your bowl. The design on these plates is a beautiful marbled pattern and my 7 year old stepson loves to use them, he always requests the pretty plates. The melamine used to make these plates is safe for the dishwasher which I love, however unfortunately one drawback is they are not microwave safe. I have accidentally microwaved one and it got pretty hot, much hotter than I expected. I do not recommend using them in the microwave! The only other drawback I have is after 1 year, they do have a tiny amount of scratches on them from knives. I try not to use the knife too firmly when I use these plates, but inevitably they have gotten a tiny bit scratched up. Overall though, they have been very durable, they have been dropped without breaking and they are amazingly lightweight. Washing them is super easy because they are lightweight and nothing sticks to them. Also I haven't had any issues with staining. If you are considering this dinnerware set, I would recommend it as long as you don't mind not using them in the microwave.

I have loved these dishes forever. They are better than glass and they are better than paper. They are absolutely perfect. I have a new set in my camper and in my house and I love the design. It is the best one I have ever seen perfect for my kitchen. Thank you, Better Homes %26 Garden!!! 💕♥️💕

I love this plate set! It's very modern and cute, yet kid-safe. I love that the plates have a curve to them, it minimizes spills - and looks good too. While they are dishwasher safe, it says do not use in the microwave…which is a huge con if you're trying to minimize use of paper plates or glass (extra dishes). But other than that they're great to serve fresh meals or snacks.

I loved the colors and design of this set. I only deducted one star due to one of the smaller plates arriving broken. I chose this light weight set to keep on our boat and hope that the rest of the set aren't broken easily. I wanted to try and just have a replacement plate sent to me, but online it doesn't have that option and only gives the option to return the whole set and so I will just keep this set and live without the one broken plate I guess.

Though the dishes are supposed to be microwave safe, they're not. I used one plate to reheat two chicken legs/ The plate melted, and I threw both the food and the dish into the trash. Its too bad. I really like the look of the dishes, love how lightweight they are, but am disappointed with their quality.
