i loved this item. First i saw the Salad Bowl, which i purchased immediately, then i saw the matching dishes. I purchased the entire set as soon as I was able to. My only disappointment!. I was in Walmart two days ago, and the entire set was in the Clearance section (Due to Back to School), after i paid Full-price for everything! I wish I could get some type of credit.

These are great for the price! They even look *but not feel, like they could be real plates with the gloss finish! I love the design and pattern on these plates. I originally wanted the green but they sold out. Got the gray and they are still beautiful and rich in color. They have a high gloss design on the tops but not the bottoms. They look so convincing from the top that the plates would be great to put on display in a china cabinet, for home staging or decoration. Even on top of your kitchen cabinets for that country cottage feel. I don't think anyone would be able to really tell. If you need lots of durable plates and bowls on a budget these sets are perfect. The only downsides are these aren't Microwave safe at all given the material but are supposedly dishwasher safe on the top rack only. I would just hand wash all of them to play it safe. As you don't want to separate the Bamboo fibers and weaken the material with heat. Which is why these are top rack only. It keeps them away from the dishwashers heating element. I only drop tested the bowls as I didn't wanna push my luck with these being low stock. They did well. However I definitely wouldn't try dropping anything like this on concrete like one reviewer did 😂 these are in no way indestructible for 26 dollars. Keep in mind, that Bamboo Melamine can withstand temperatures of 120-150°F. Exposure to anything higher can release chemicals and loosen fibers. Which sounds scary. But weve all drank from plastic tumblers before. Some things have rules. Would make a great gift. These aren't magic. They're an affordable elegant way to upgrade your dining experience at home. Great for having guests over. They have some weight to them as well. Definitely give them a shot!

My family loves these dishes, especially the pasta bowls. I purchased two sets as they come with service for four and we are a family of six. They are beautiful to look at and they hold up nicely with daily use and washing in the dishwasher. We have been using them for about three months now. I would definitely recommend getting them if you have been thinking about it.

The Photos do not do the product justice. I purchased the green set of dishes and they are BEAUITFUL. Honestly I loved them so much that I went back and purchased another set. I have two young boys who are like Bulls in a China shop but I want/deserve Beautiful dishes. Right Yes I do deserve Beautiful dishes that are durable. I hope the other colors are as Nice as the Green. Grab before they are Gone

As others have said, this set of dishes is quite pretty. IMO the green leans more toward a dark olive (which I love) and the back ground is a creamy vanilla bean with the slightest "speckle". I look forward to being able to add other offerd matching pieces, as I will use this set for Shabbat. I have a weakness for pretty dishes, and this is a winner.

I received this set and even though they're beautiful, they're very thin plastic and they break easily. In fact, one of the bowls came broken and I just purchased it separately.. it's not dishwasher safe and even though I kept this set, I know I'm regretting my move. Extremely disappointed with Better Homes %26 Gardens. They are usually better than this.

It's not the fault of maker of these dishes , but our family did not realize these plates are NOT Microwavable……..,,that's like sudden death around here. It's microwaveable or don't even Think about the process. The dishes are nice and are a great price

I don't know because Walmart online never delivered my order and customer service does nothing to help except make me re-explain every time. It has been almost : months now and WALMART owes me over $150!!!!! Why would an American company have such horrible customer service?

These were absolutely gorgeous and I wish I could have kept them. They weren't available to pick up near me, so I had to have them shipped. They were stacked in the box with only a thin piece of tissue paper between each dish, and not much else surrounding the dishes to keep them in place. I opened the package to find that at least 4 of the dishes were shattered (it could have been more, it was hard to tell). Walmart has been so careless with their deliveries the last few times I ordered that I no longer think the low prices are worth it if everything is just going to arrive broken.
