Better Homes & Gardens 4-Cube Shoe Storage 58.39" Bench, Weathered

This is the second one of these I have purchased. The 1st one lasted 5 years, with heavy use, so I consider this excellent value for the money. In looking to replace the old one (still ok for shoe storage, but the top was starting to break from being sat on, and jumped on by little kids), I could not find anything as useful (volume of storage), and as sleek, so I just bought the same thing again. I love this bench/storage solution, and it's easy to update its "look" by getting different baskets.

Absolutely LOVE this bench!! Took me a while to find something durable in the size we needed. The price and the quality are better than expected. Wish they had basket recommendations under the bench listing because it took me a while to search internet for the right size and style, finally found perfect storage cubes right here at Walmart.

Bought this for my son's room as we are redecorating his entire room so he could have a seat/reading area by the window. My larger plan was to use the cube bins to store all his hot wheels. ALL of his hot wheels fit in the 4 bins underneath with plenty of room to spare. He probably has over 2,000 hot wheels total so now he has a happy little storage area for his obsession. So happy with this bench. It was fairly simple to put together, took less than an hour with 2 moms in charge of the mission. Sturdy design and really brings a wow factor to any room. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic bench! Looks great at the end of our king sized bed. It's not too small and not too big either for this spot. Rustic Gray color is slightly darker than the picture but it still works for my room. Love it! I did what another purchaser did and left out two of the dividers so I only have two storage spaces and I really like it and it still feels just as sturdy as if the original dividers are still in it. I'm also considering leaving the pad off the top bc I personally think the pad looks kind of cheap. The pad is the only downside to this product in my opinion. Wish you could choose different colors for the pad. All in all though, great product and easy to put together.

It looks very nice. It came with a few flaws, but for the price I can look past them. The cushion on top is underwhelming. I'll probably switch it out at some point with a higher quality cushion. And the very bottom pieces of hardware bent when i hammered them onto the feet. I'll replace those with higher quality as well. Easy fixes. It looks nice in my space. I'm overall happy with this purchase :)

I can't say if I'd recommend this product or give it a true rating on design or value. The instructions were mostly easy to follow but none of my cam lock will fully lock. The instructions say they should turn 180 degrees to be secure but I can't get them past 90, and I've tried switching them around. I've been sitting on completion for months because I keep getting frustrated and am nervous about sturdiness if I continue as is.

Product was damaged (an outside piece had been stepped on or damaged somehow prior to packaging) and I didn't realize it until I'd put the unit together and turned it and saw the dentrd side. I can hide it, but it was still a bummer to discover. The instructions were also difficult to interpret so it took me longer than anticipated, but you get what you pay for!

Initially, I was very pleased with the quality- it looked nicer than I expected. It does not look cheap. A few pre-drilled holes were not pre-drilled but it was not a big deal. However, it is NOT sturdy. The press board underneath the pretty surface is compressing with crackling, crunching sounds! I weight 160lbs and I kneeled on it with only part of my weight and heard it compressing with loud crunching sounds! I made a video but only photos can be uploaded here. I am pointing to the collapsing section in the 2nd photo (the entire top seat piece is not collapsing, just one area). I would not recommend this product for safety reasons (i wouldn'twant a kid standing on it). I'm disappointed because it really does look nice. I guess you get what you pay for.

This storage bench came with a damaged side. I have called the USA replacement parts phone %23 for replacement of the one side. It's only a leave a message %23. The email is not valid. After one month I still have not received the part I need. I do like the bench but customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I would have given a 5 star.

I am on attempt number three to receive this item undamaged. The first delivery had a damaged top (piece A). The second delivery had a damaged support side (piece C). I repackaged the first box and returned the item to the store, which was not quick or easy, as the box is large and heavy. I called customer service on the second damaged order expecting more help. They were a nightmare to deal with. The first call took half an hour, and I was told a replacement would be sent without me needing to return the box back to the store. I later received an email stating I had to return the item to the store, so I called back. This call took an hour to get the replacement shipped to me and a scheduled pick up for the damaged item. The customer service department was frustrating and difficult to have a productive conversation with. The look of the undamaged pieces are nice. I guess you get what you pay for, but I could not find a better option in the rustic gray color. I am hopeful I can pull from set two and three to combine for a single bench with no damage. Be warned this item may take multiple attempts before you can receive all undamaged pieces. If dealing with customer service and/or returning large packages back to the store will not work for you, I would caution against this piece.
