Better Homes & Gardens 4-Cube Shoe Storage 58.39" Bench, Weathered

The bench is more heavy duty than I expected. We placed it in our garage for shoe storage with 13x13 size boxes. It took about 2 hours to put together and I did need a second person to help with the final step in order to lock the pieces in all the way. One thing I did see that I would nit-pick is that the connector nuts in the middle of the bench do not sit flush.

I was dreading putting this together based on the reviews but it really was not that bad. It took me a little over an hour by myself. I depise cam locks so that to me was the worst part, other than that it was pretty simple and the instructions were clear. No broken pieces. It has not been put to use yet so i cant say how durable it is but so far it seems sturdy. Looks great.

I bought this bench as a reading bench for my daughter. She's going to be able to use this for a long time. It's a very sturdy piece of furniture. The weight capacity is 300 pounds, much higher than most kids' storage that's similar. The assembly was easy. All pieces needed were included. The only thing I couldn't hammer in easily was one pad for a foot. The nail bent. All the rest of the hardware worked great. It took about an hour to put together. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. The bench comes with the cushion. We added pillows and cloth bins. This is a great accent piece and well worth the money we spent. We are highly satisfied with this bench.

This item definitely takes two people to assemble. I use it as storage in guest bedroom. The 13inch fabric cube storage bins fit perfectly on storage bench. It does feels a little wobbly but seems like it will last for a while as long as you don't sit on it for extended periods of time. For the price and purpose I recommend this bench.

Cute bench for a mud room! Cubbies are larger than I expected and was impressed the seat cover had a zipper to be washed. My only issues were that one piece of a panel was damaged (but I was able to put that piece in the back) and the feet of the bench do not stay locked in one position. They seem to swivel...?

Ordered this for extra storage for kids toys in our sitting room. It looks great and seems very sturdy for the price! Fits 13in. storage baskets perfectly. The only two downfalls I found were the seat/cushion was stained on one side and two of the sides had scratches on them upon arrival. But overall I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for more storage

Worst customer service I have experienced for getting a damaged item delivered. I'm disabled and expected to go buy boxes to ship back a broken bench I received. The box that got delivered was over 75lbs over 6ftx2ft. Best option you offered me was pay for boxes and package it up and return it myself or take $17 credit because that's the best you can do on a $130 purchased. Next time, if you're going to send me a broken bench, charge me $17 and let me know it's broken with a huge crack in it. Or send me one that is not broken or refund me my money over Walmart sending customers broken items and making the customers responsibility to return it even if they physically can't buy themselves. In the future, Walmart should advertise, buyers responsibilities if we ship it damage it's your fault and that's the best we can do, here shopping at Walmart. When will you send me a new bench that is not broken or refund me my money over all the time you have wasted me today. I am 3 hrs into trying to get this resolved today and I have gotten no where with resolving my broken item.

A nightmare. Came damaged and neither Walmart nor the delivery company appears willing to take responsibility for a reasonable return process. Effort spent on arranging return/replacement and repackaging, cost of materials and gas, and effort to resend will literally end up equaling or exceeding the cost of the item if hours are figured at minimum wage by the time this is all done. Walmart.com customer "service" is not just unhelpful, but argumentative (more than one did this), and refuses to allow customer to speak to more than one level of supervisor. Stone walls at every turn and both Walmart and the delivery company work in concert to make this awful.

This package arrived damaged. The local Fed Ex in Geddess NY, then Syracuse, NY delayed the shipping for 5 days before delivering this mess. After carefully opening the box I noticed damage to the parts mainly in the corners. Unfortunately the damage can't be touched up or hidden. I am not accepting this delivery and if I am expected to do the workand return this myself repackaged I will not purchase anymore from Walmart for a solid year. 08-25-2023. I work hard for my money and I ask to be treated with respect by all parties involved with this purchase.

I walked up to my doorstep to find a box that is absolutely mangled! There were at least 5 different rips in the box and almost every corner was smashed in. It looks like someone rolled it down a flight of stairs. I didn't have much hope for what was inside after seeing the box. But i opened it and was immediately greeted with broken flimsy parts. I'm not even going to keep unboxing it! Do yourself a favor steer clear of this product!
