They absolutely brighten up the room. They are nearly indestructible. I put them in our 19 foot ceiling and accidentally dropped one of them while trying to put it in. It bounced a few times off our hard wood floor. It not only did not break, it still worked. I highly recommend these light bulbs

I just recently purchased and installed these bulbs so I can not address longevity. They work very well with my Luton dimmer and the dimming to very low is quite good.

This is a simple modern mat black pendant light with a clear round glass globe. Comes with a nice long fabric covered cord to let you adjust it to the length you need. I like how the pendant is made with metal parts yet it is quite light weight. Included was a decorative and dimmable bulb that is equivalent to 40 watts. It says it has a soft white temperature but it is quite bright at 450 lumens. I do like the looks of these bulbs. Took me about a half hour to install so pretty easy installation. The only negative was how the cord comes out the side to gets in the way of the globe and I had to push the cord up because the globe was crooked and it bugged me. I did get it adjusted and globe straightened. This pendant sure dresses up this area with the mat black I front of my white shades.

I was surprised at the quality of this fixture, very solid, not a cheap part on it. Most of the light fixtures I see these days have two main flaws; one, they are cheap, sometimes so much they get damaged on the installation...and two, they are overly complex with way more assembly needed than I like. This fixture? High quality fixture that will last a lifetime and virtually no assembly required. It has a nice retro vibe to it too.

The Better Homes & Gardens Globe Glass, Satin Nickel finish Pendent light allows you the option to have a low hanging light over a table. Or if you have a higher ceiling it could make it easier to reach the bulb. It has about an 4ft drop. It does have to be directly wired by an electrian.

The BHG Glass Globe Satin Nickle finish Pendant light is very soft, subtle looking. It does not shout out a lot of color or period style, it just hangs in an elegant quiet way. Some products do not need to be a sensation, just look very good and work well. this Pendant light fits that perfectly, a style that will blend with almost any decor. All the parts to install the Pendant light are included and, best of all, it is very easy to install. The 40 watts equivalent dimmable Edison style LED lamp that is included is a perfect match for this light. I am very happy with the look and the function.

Classy updated look with the brushed gold and the black rope. We chose to install in a spare bedroom. The colors and look of the pendant perfectly accentuated the room. Product comes with a bulb but we chose to use a clear incandescent instead. Easy to install if you are familiar. Instructions must have been translated from another language because the English didn't make sense but you can figure out what it's trying to say.

My Better Homes & Garden Pendant light came packaged very well, so I had no issues with it being cracked or broken. The fixture is all metal and the shade is clear glass, and comes with One 40 watt light bulb, which I feel like it will stay burning for about a year. We did not attempt to attach it ourselves, we called an electrician to install it correctly, which was free for us because my uncle is an electrician. It looked best in our dining room, but we chose the den to put it up, since it hangs a little low, and I did not want the small kids playing with it. It gives off a very nice, warm glow with the glass shade, and I'm thinking about using a light blue or green light bulb, since it is the den. I do wish it was a bit shorter, so it wouldn't hang so low, but no real issues there. The glass shade DOES get warm though. It came with a one year subscription to Better Homes and Garden magazine, yaay! Also says it has a five year warranty. It's a nice, elegant but simple design that will look good anywhere.

Overall, this is a good light fixture. Installation was a simple one page process that I was easily able to do on my own. This pendent light is on the small side and very cute. The glass globe seems heavy enough and the filament in the bulb that comes with it gives off a really nice glow.

I didn't realize this was a full blown light fixture that needed to be installed. I thought it was just a light bulb. Nothing like what the picture shows. I rent, and doubt my landlord would be okay with me installing this. I plan on gifting it to someone. I did take it out of the box to look at it, and it looks super cute. I would love to have something like this. I'm sure whoever I give it to will love it.
