Better Homes & Gardens 7.9 Gallon Trash Can Stainless Steel Kitchen Trash Can

I really like having this rectangle 7.9 gallon trash can in my kitchen. It has a very clean, sophisticated and modern design which fits right in. I can tell it's very sturdy and well made. It does not look messy because it has a lid on the top which hides all the trash. The cover is really well made too. It opens up quickly but slowly releases to close. I've noticed my kitchen doesn't smell like trash that's been sitting in the corner for three days anymore. This is a great trash can I would recommend it 100%!

When I got the email asking if I would like to review this garbage can I thought, yeah what the heck, I need one in my bathroom! Well when I got home and saw the box on my front porch I was surprised at the size of it and to my delight when I opened the box and pulled the garbage can out I was so happy at the size! I have been looking at these at Wal-Mart but decided they were to expensive for me, little did I know that they are so worth every penny! It's just me and my dogs at home so this size is perfect for us! It fits right next to my stove, it's hands-free and very convenient to press the pedal to lift the lid, which slowly lowers itself when the pedal is released….LOVE THIS FEATURE! It's nice-looking! The outside resists finger prints, it cleans up easily with a spritz and a wipe! The can inside lifts out easily to remove the bag, rinse out and replace the bag. It's sturdy and heavy enough so it doesn't bang around when you press the pedal to lift the lid! The lid keeps my fur babies out! I am loving this garbage can and I will be buying another for my bathroom, only smaller! If there is a down side (and I had to really think about a down side), it would be it is size. While it is perfect for me, a family may struggle to keep taking the trash out once or twice a day! Overall I would give this a 9.99. I am absolutely thrilled with this garbage can and recommend it highly!

Nice big trashcan. It fits 13 gallon trashbags. Has an inner plastic bin that can be taken out to clean easier. Handle on the back for ease of hold. Step to open and it closes slowly instead of a fast bang. I like the rectangular shape to tuck in a corner.

Very beautiful rectangle design and structurally solid. - originally had under office desk but was to good not be in constant use...so I moved to kitchen area and seals in smells of baby diapers. I can leave used kitty litter out to a week where other trash cans had to be emptied daily. -removable inner trash can allows for 2 parts to be cleaned separately and thus allows you to use a hose or pressure washer for the inner trash can which will be inherently more dirty. Removable inner trash can allows for trash bag to be folded over top and tucked into the can. Stepping pedal great when hands busy and trying not to touch 2020 Corona concept of any handles is in effect. Design can transform to any design age in ur home.

i researched trash cans like it was for a PhD paper before I found this one. i didn't want a 13 gallon. this one is 7.9 but takes a 13 gallon trash bag so win-win. the soft close works very well and is very sturdy such that even when empty it does not move around. and it has a liner to prevent leaks. for those who have a habit of running their fingers all over their trash can this one is actually fingerprint resistant. the only feature i wish it had is a locking mechanism. otherwise its as close to perfect as a trash can can be.

I really like this trash can. It is not clanky, it is smooth operating. The stainless steel is a nice look and absolutely does not show finger prints, unless of course you have very dirty hands, lol. I like the slow closing lid for little peoples safety. the removable basket inside has small opening to make it easier to remove trash bags without struggling do to vacuum. it is also easy to clean because of the removable basket. This particular one is too large for a bathroom but works nicely in a kitchen where you don't have boat loads of trash each day. It is also a nice idea for pet food storage and frees up having to use both hands. You would just need to cover vent holes with a durable tape. Definitely a good quality product.

This garbage can is more slim and compact than what I've been using in my kitchen. I like the sleek, angular look to it. The inside of the can comes out, which makes it easy to wipe up any spills or leaks that may happen. The only thing I could possibly complain about here, is that the lid is slow to close once you take your foot off the lever. Even so, not a huge deal. Overall I would recommend this to anyone in need of a trash can, but I am using it strictly for recycling because of the lid being slow to close. Otherwise I feel like my dogs could get into it and make a mess. If your pets behave better than mine do, look no further for the perfect trash can.

I bought this trash can for my office room at my house. I wanted something small, but not too small and of course something that looked good lol This trash can has a very elegant look to it and it makes any room look nice. It has a little step on thing to pop open the lid and it closes by itself. I do find that sometimes it doesn't close all the way but it's okay. Not a big deal for me. I think its great!

I love the style and the size of the garbage can and was thinking how perfect it would be for my newly remodel kitchen. I was happy to receive it but after opening the box I was so disappointed. There were black pieces of plastic scattered in the box, all the black lining on the bottom of the can was broken off and the can was dented . I tried to glued it back together but I could not. I Thought about returning it but I did not want to go through the hassle. For something so delicate and coming from so far should have better cushion there was no cushion in the box. I could have given it five stars if it was not broken and dented.

Handsome trash can but the first one came broken. Returned it and the second one worked for one day and then the auto close mechanism broke. The auto close mechanism is very very flimsy. We continue to use the trash can without this feature, but I definitely don't recommend this product.
