Better Homes & Gardens 8-Cube Storage Organizer, Tobacco Oak

It is laminated particle board, but very sturdy and looks great. Especially for the price. Definitely recommend over the other brands you can find on the market. The dowels are plastic and seem to be less likely to break than the wooden ones. The shelf compartments are bigger than the other brands too. The top, bottom shelf, and the sides are thick. Overall, a great product! Will purchase again if ever in need of another bin shelf organizer.

I used two of the Better Homes %26 Gardens 8-Cube organizers and three 4-Cube units to build a custom queen bed platform over an existing steel frame. I laid 2x4s across the top to distribute weight evenly, and the result has been incredibly solid — no creaks, no shifting, even with daily use. The cubes provide excellent storage and help keep my space organized. I use them for linens, books, and seasonal items, and everything stays accessible. The rustic gray finish looks clean and modern, and the units themselves were easy to assemble with clear instructions. This setup isn’t standard, but if you’re handy and need a budget-friendly bed base with built-in storage, it’s a great solution. Just make sure to reinforce the top properly and check your frame dimensions. I’ve been sleeping on it comfortably for months, and it’s held up beautifully.

I love this storage cube. First off, I love the color, but most importantly, this thing is sturdy. I have purchased other storage units like this, but this one is made so well and looks terrific. I know this will hold up for many years. Now, my complaint about this unit. It is heavy, but that's okay; it will last. Because of the weight, I couldn't build this by myself. But all in all, I love this unit. And I would purchase it again.

This item is just as nice as it looks in the pictures. The assembly was best with t2o people. The only issue we had with it was that the last screw at each of the long ends would not fit in. We had to purchase pointed / wood screws of the same length and width to be able to finish the construction. Over all I like the product.

Takes 2 people to assemble. Directions are mostly clear. The middle divider shelves are particle board and break easily if you are not careful with the screws. It looks good and I bought the baskets to go on the bottom shelf. It works for my mudroom storage.

I was trying to assemble this and the cam locks literally fell apart before I put them in place (see photos). Can I get replacement parts?! I was halfway through putting it together!!!

I bought one similar several years ago and decided to purchase another. I can say that the quality of the materials has gone south and wouldn't buy a third time. Not as sturdy as the first one and the hardware isn't up to par. The price isn't equal to the value of this product, unfortunately.

Delivery was quick and assembly was extremely easy. Unfortunately after having it for one day the dowel already broke through one of the shelves. I called Walmart to see if I can get a replacement and was told they can’t send out another one. On top of that in order to get a refund I would need to return, I don’t have a large enough vehicle to do the return. So I guess I’m out of $100. Please do better

I ordered it at the advertised price. Roughly half off. It was then shipped. I tracked the shipment. It was then placed on a truck for delivery (with a drivers name who was going to deliver it). It was out for delivery. Then the package "disappeared ". Eventually I had to ask for a refund. Now I'm getting a message that it was delivered at my home. Guess what? Yep. Someones full of it. Got my refund, so no big deal. Just don't mark something as delivered when it never was.

So very disappointed with this storage cabinet from Better Homes and Gardens. Right out of the box the particleboard parts were damaged. Screws didn’t fit, directions impossible. I have purchased Home and Garden furniture before and were great. This was so sad. As we live very rural 2 hours from a Walmart, it’s not like I can box up and drive 20 minutes to return the storage cabinet. Walmart offered for me to return but at this point we decided to just keep. Walmart representative said to contact Better Homes and Gardens. The sad part is it was $ 79 plus tax. Big pass for me
