These are our thoughts about these light bulbs we've now had for a couple of months: Aesthetically, the clear glass and filament look premium in exposed fixtures. The A15 profile size fits perfectly in tight ceiling fan housings. Value: Usually priced lower than name-brand competitors like Philips or GE. Dimmer Sensitivity: Requires a modern dimmer to avoid buzzing or humming. Quick Tip: Before installing these in a ceiling fan, check if your fan has a "limiter." Some older fans struggle with the low wattage of LEDs, though modern ones usually handle these 2-packs perfectly.

This bulb is perfect for my little lamp! I love the light "color" it emits on my kitchen counter!

I got the 40 watt soft white to put in my living room lamps. They are replacing 60 watt soft white from another brand. In my opinion, they supply the same amount of needed light, but have a slightly warmer glow. Its a very slight difference in color. What is most obvious to me is that, with these, I don't get the upper glow ring coming out of the top of the lamp shade. You can see in the photos,….there is a light ring cast onto the wall above the left lamp,….that is the lamp with the other brand 60 watt soft white. The Better Homes and Gardens 40 watt soft white is in the lamp on the right. Also, the bulb does not get hot, whereas, the ceramic base of the 60 watt led on the left got too hot to touch.

Good lights, but I wouldn't say they are warm white. I also have GE Relax LED lights and these are a bit cooler toned, even though they say soft white.

I bought the bulbs to use in 2 small lamps. So far, so good. The lighting is good, but keeps the ambience I was hoping for.

There are some great things about these bulbs, like the low 4.5 watt power consumption that still produces 450 lumens of light, the standard size base that fits most lamps and fixtures, the clear glass bulb that gives off a lot of light, the long life, of a LED bulb and they remain much cooler than a standard incandescent bulb, but… the light they give off and the LED elements in the bulb look very unrealistic, compared to an authentic incandescent vintage style light bulb with wire elements. The bulb is unique and personally I like the warm, yellowish look better than a standard LED bulb, but if you are looking for an authentic “old fashion” Edison bulb look, you will need to keep looking
