love vintage bulbs

We like the old vintage look to the lightbulbs in our house since it's designed as a modern farmhouse, but we prefer the white brightness like these bulbs instead of the yellowish tinge other vintage bulbs give off. We've had no problem with these bulbs thus far, they produce adequate light, nice and bright white, and work in our vintage looking fixtures.

This bulb has a small footprint, when compared to bulbs of similar wattage and brightness. I used mine in a closet that still had a CFL in the fixture. The bulb is much brighter and cooler to the touch than the old CFL and uses less wattage which will save over the long run.

I was looking for a smaller Watt light bulb for one of my fans in my kitchen that had more brightness to it as my kitchen is rather dark. The bulbs I had in before were big and not bright at all and had a real heavy yellow tint to the bulb. I put the vintage style LED 40 Watt bulb in and not only is it nicer looking. It gives me more of a white light and the bulb is small and not a noticeable as the old large bulbs. I have to say I am very satisfied with this light bulb and will be buying some more for the other fans in my home to brighten it up more.

I'm using these bulbs in a touch lamp that you can dim. It has three different levels of brightness, but even at the brightest its still a soft light instead of glaringly bright. I love the look of the Edison bulbs, the vintage feel they give off. Makes me wish I had a different lamp or fixture I could use it in so it could add to the look of the decor. The base fits into a standard socket but is a little smaller than a regular bulb.

These bulbs are awesome bring back that old time feel with an amazing look and them being real glass just sets them apart and then being led just makes them perfect you can’t go wrong these have just the right amount of warm light great for a office corner table light or end table light .

LED bulbs are the way to save on electricity but lack charm and can be harsh. This vintage style LED bulb is quite bright even at 40 W so seeing the "element" at full tilt is hard to appreciate which kind of is beside the point of having a vintage bulb. However, it is dimmable so I will be using it in another fixture to take advantage of that and dial it down a bit. It otherwise is durable and does indeed have the "vintage element" style. Be aware that without using the dimmer feature, you will not really appreciate the element as it is pretty bright - see photo.

The Better Homes & Gardens LED Vintage Style bulb is very pretty to look at. The brightness was very weak in my opinion and wasn't able to adequately light up a room with a lamp with a lamp shade. Perhaps if the bulbs was placed in a lamp without a shade it might do a little better. I think for an area that you do not need a lot of light the bulb might be enough or if you want to create a soft mood then it would be okay. I prefer to have enough light to see and I rate this at 3 stars.
