These bulbs are bright and long-lasting, and they have never burned out prematurely. I have also found that they are very energy efficient, which has helped to lower my electricity bill. The vintage style daylight 40 watt equivalent set of 2 bulbs adds just the right amount of clear light with a touch of pizazz! I'm not really sure if this is an actual vintage style but I really love the way the yellow coil wraps around the bulb. It adds the perfect touch to an exposed bulb!

I like these bulbs since they are “daylight clear” style. I prefer this to the amber style or soft light of some other bulbs. As I’ve gotten older this light is easier for me to see in. I attached a picture that compared the light bulb to the more standard style light bulb that it was replacing. The vintage style is really attractive, but the bulb is smaller than the regular size. This may or may not work for you depending on how you want to use the bulb. I ended up deciding to try these since they are Better Homes and Gardens and I’ve always been happy with this brand, especially for the price.

This light bulb gives out clear, white light. It is bright and illuminates very well. I use only one in a lamp on a nightstand that is in a 12 x 15 foot room and is bright enough that I am able to read when sitting close to the nightstand. It's pretty enough to be used in ceiling lights that have exposed bulbs.

The color is not very warm, but they do the job.
