Better Homes & Gardens Acrylic Small Round Serve Bowl

Received the Better Homes & Gardens Acrylic Small Round Serving Bowl and was pleasantly surprised.  The acrylic is thicker then I expected with a ripple texture. Has the look and feel of traditional glassware. Rim has a luminescent luster to it.  High quality at an unbelievable price.  Plan to purchase the coordinating medium and large size. Perfect bowl for serving a colorful fruit salad indoor or out! 

As soon as I saw this bowl I knew it would become one of my favorite bowls. It's multifunctional and works as a fruit bowl or serving potatoes to your family. Acrylic dinnerware is something I have long been a fan of, because unlike glass it won't break if you drop it and it doesn't weigh nearly as much. It will last forever. I have a set of acrylic glasses I've been using for 25 years. I recommend using wooden utensils to avoid scratching this adorable bowl. I used it tonight to serve Mac and cheese and it's ideal size for my family of 4. I have included a photo of it with some slicing tomatoes to give an idea of its size. My son used it to eat cereal too, but to me it's too large for that, but to him it's just right so opinions will vary. I would definitely buy this useful bowl and for myself or as a gift.

First, I have to say that I love anything acrylic and this bowl is no exception. I like the clear-as-glass look. I do a lot of outdoor entertaining in the summer and rely on good looking, durable, easy to clean serving dishes, glasses, trays, etc. They are so much nicer than paper plates and disposable serveware. This bowl is simple yet elegant looking. It can also be used as a pretty vase for fresh or artificial flowers. I like to display my handcrafted wood roses, (see pic) or fresh carnations. I have also used it as a cereal bowl when I want an extra large serving and it's great for a single serving of popcorn, chips, crackers, etc. Love it!

This is a wonderful serving bowl. It's pretty, looks like glass. It's pretty inside at a more formal gathering and great at a picnic. It works great making an individual salad because you can toss everything without throwing any out the bowl. I've never been a fan of plastic dishes, this one changed my mine. I plan to buy a few more of them. I've shared pictures of this one with some friends who live alone, they have bought some. They love it for making individual salads. This is what I would call a mid size bowl. This one is a keeper. Love it.

Great bowls! Smooth inside for easy washing. Great for large individual salads - plenty of room to stir ingredients. Also great for Jethro-size bowls of cereal!

This is a very nice serving bowl, I used it when I had my family over for dinner the other night and it looks very nice and I can use it in the microwave. This is s good buy.

I love the size of this serving bowl! It's not too big so it's great for fruit or snack mixes when I serve them. I love the simple textured look design and the plastic is durable and looks high quality.

These bowls make nice salad bowls. The sit flat and are well balanced. They are also great for popcorn and snacks for individuals. They are pretty as well.

I would have given this bowl a five except for one minor thing, it is only dishwasher safe if placed in the top rack and unfortunately my top rack is dedicated to cups glasses and small kid bowls. Other than that it is beautiful and a great size. I see it as a perfect trifle bowl. I haven't used it just yet but I look forward to using it.

I used this bowl for cereal with cold milk for breakfast. After a few weeks of normal use, it developed dozens of small, vertical cracks around the perimeter of the base for no apparent reason -- probably manufacturing defects. I never dropped it or used it in my microwave oven. Buying this bowl was a complete waste of money. The bowl I preferred was not in stock at the time I needed it.
