Better Homes & Gardens Adult Washcloth, Solid Purple

I bought these for my son who wanted large, absorbent grey towels. After using them for about 3 weeks, he reported that they were very absorbent and nice. If there had been a problem with too much lint or anything, he would have noted that. But he had no complaints... only praise. I will buy these for myself soon.

Love the color (green), love the weight and size, especially love made in the USA! Very little lint after first wash and dry. All around very nice towels. My only complaint is the material of the tag. It wrinkles after laundering, it should be woven. In general very pleased with this purchase.

This is my opinion and experience with these towels whether good or bad. I hope it helps in you making your decision. These towels were perfect. They were not too thick to take a long time to dry and not too thin that they would not dry you off completely. These towels didn’t fade and hardly any shedding. I have washed them at least 3-4 times. I also wanted a towel made in the USA. There were no shrinkage either. They also were no smell to the material. I highly recommend them.

Reasonably priced for the size I ordered. Love that they are mad in the USA. They washed up well, again no major shedding. I only gave 3 stars on this because the tag you are supposed to be able to tear off was sewn too far under the end of the hem of this towel. I had to carefully cut/trim it off to not cut the stitching(you should be able to see in the photo). This particular tag was very rigid and could very easily cut someone if I hadn't trimmed it. That being said, without the tag issue I think it is a good towel to buy and may get more in the near future.

The towels are good value in terms of thread count, material, etc. However they have a odd odor which is vaguely chemical in nature which I cannot manage to wash out. If I had to describe the smell, it would be like a hair dye, something like that. The smell was insanely strong the moment I took them out of the box, but I assumed that a good wash would set them right. I have washed these towels with baking soda, then with Borax, and finally I just bleached them to see if that would do it, and yet the smell remains. It's incredibly irritating to have what feels and looks like nice towels, but be unable to use them due to the smell. Hopefully if I wash them enough, someday I'll have a towel that doesn't smell like a dye shop. But I have to wonder, what the heck was on these towels to make them smell like this in the first place, and why it is so difficult to wash out?

Not the typical quality that I’ve gotten from Better Homes and Gardens in the past. I’m going to keep them because the pale green color is hard to find but I won’t ever buy them again, I will opt for Mainstays instead- cheaper and just as good at least as this set.

I’ve bought these towels before so did not hesitate to buy again. I was quite disappointed in the quality or lack thereof. I came here to look at reviews only to find out I’m not alone. These are thin crap, I don’t recommend buying theses at all. I want my money back and I bought towels, hand towels and rags. Ugghhh

Bought three of the white hand towels to use for my at home workouts. Horrible idea. Washed them as soon as they arrived and came out of the dryer just fine. When I started using them during spin class, I realized my black capris and black sports bra were covered with white lint that were shed by these towels. Totally not going to use 'em from here on out. Thankfully Walmart's customer service offered a refund for the poor quality of these things.

I already have a set of towels like this so I thought I was getting the same towels when I ordered. they are not the same I don't know why but they're very much not luxurious they're not even soft they feel like mine after 5 years of wear very disappointing I'll probably have to send them back.

Waste of money. ordered these not only did they come late but they gave me white instead of the light blue that I ordered. Towels are extremely rough to touch. Will be returning to walmart for my money back. this shouldn’t be acceptable to give out to customers
