Better Homes & Gardens Anderson Dark Gray Square-Shaped Stoneware Salad Plate

Awesome and most beautiful plates! We recently changed the color of our kitchen and these are the perfect switch up! They are very well made and look very nice!

Better Homes & Garden ceramic stoneware. Square Salad Plate. Measures: The 8.5 inch plate is the perfect size for salad or to use as a child's plate or a lunch plate. I really like how these dishes stack on top of one another. The square salad plate is just a perfect fit on top of the dinner plate. Color: The top glaze makes the underlying colors beautifully vary in shading. The charcoal gray with a mottled (small black spots) finish makes a rich tone and expensive looking table statement.   Shape: To me, the square shape is kind of unique in dinnerware. Like you see at a restaurant. The dish is both safe for dishwasher use as well in the microwave. I like how the dishes do not get hot in the microwave - the food does but the dish itself does not which is nice. The stoneware is heavier than normal china and feels very durable / not easy to chip with daily use. Accompanying plates, cups, and bowls are also available if you want make a complete whole place setting.

I decided I needed appetizer plates for some coming events in my home and I wanted square shaped plates. After looking at various retail shops I returned to walmart and found that this company had the perfect plate. I had recently purchased cups and saucers from them and I was so impressed so I ordered 2 sets of dinner set. Their deliver is quick and they are experts in packaging to fare the journey. I am really pleased with the quality of their products, they are restaurant quality, and I'm sure I'll get years of use out of them.

This Trendy square shaped salad plate is nice looking and functional. It's great for salads and pretty much anything. It's the perfect size for me. Its a beautiful dark charcoal gray with a speckled print and smooth finish. It feels very sturdy and has a decent weight to it. The only thing I noticed was a little inconsistency in the color on one part of the inside. Not a deal breaker for me though. I sometimes use it with the matching square bowl to carry hot cereals and soups from the microwave / counter to table.

Ok, this plate is beautiful and very solid. The plate is too heavy though. The bottom of the plate has a frame that sticks out that feels like a clay pot. The problem with that is, since it's so heavy & has that frame around it, it scratches the table. If you don't care about your table getting scratched then it's no big deal. I don't want mine scratched up though so I gave these away. Also, the plate is too flat for my liking. I like plates that rise a little more around the edges.

There is a part missing so I could not complete assembly. I have yet to hear back from Walmart or the seller

It is hard to tell. The three plates were in hundreds of pieces.
