The Better Homes and Gardens Stonewear 16pcs. set is so pretty! Love the speckes in plates and bowls with the half brown. It looks right at home in our country house. My sister is purchasing a set to go in her ultra modern home. So it goes with any decor. We love that the bowls and mugs hold a significant amount of salad, ice cream or soup. They wash up great in dishwasher and also can go in microwave. Will be buying other pieces to go with this set.

I really love this set 16 piece dinnerware set. It comes with 4 dinner plates, 4 bowls, 4 salad plates, and 4 mugs. It's dishwasher and microwave safe. Each piece has a very modern and beautiful swirl textured pattern and each piece looks as though it was lightly dipped in clay. It looks great on the table and seems quite durable. The mugs are slightly larger than expected which I love!

I am loving the design of the Better Homes and Garden Abott stoneware dinnerware set! It is a 16 piece set with 4 of each- dinner plate, salad plate, bowl, and mug. They are easy to clean either in the dishwasher or hand washing. I have hand washed and dish washed mine without any issues. They are microwave safe, although they warn they may be hot. Great addition!

The Better Home & Gardens About Stoneware 16 piece dinnerware set is really nice and sturdy. I really like the neutral colors and how calming the colors are. The dinnerware set itself is super sturdy and of high quality and actually feels pretty heavy and of high quality. I have used this set for small gatherings and have gotten so many compliments. If you are in the market for yourself or to buy as a gift, you will definitely want to get a set. You will not be disappointed.

Can't go wrong with stoneware! This set feels like it would last a lifetime. Stoneware does come with a price though, it is pretty heavy. The two colors keep the dishes from looking bland. The brown color of the dishes is more of a matte feel, which I think looks great and might even help you from having it slip out of your hand when placing the table. After a few uses and going through the dishwasher they still look great and like new. I can't see any damage from using utensils. They will definitely hold up for a long time. I think everyone's favorite piece in this set is the mug. It's big enough to have soup in it. Perfect if you need something with a handle away from the table. It's great they made it big enough to be used not only for drinks. My family will be enjoying this set for a long time. Thanks for making a great product!

This dish set is giving me all the earthy vibes I was looking for. The white portion has little flecks of color in it, looks like a dark grey color, and is smooth but with very shallow lines. The bottom of each mug, bowl, and plate is a totally different texture and is a warm earthy brown color. I love the difference in textures and colors. Each piece of this set is a nice weight, actually kind of heavy compared to my other dishes, and really great quality. The mugs and bowls are standard size, but hold a lot more than it looks like they will. The plates have a very very slight upward kind of curve towards the edge, which I like better than plates with the flat edges because the food and sauce stays on the plate instead of spilling. This dinnerware set does great in the dishwasher too, I have washed on the top and bottom racks and they are holding up like brand new. I will say, the dishes kind of 'sweat' when they have hot food or drink, so they will leave behind a steam ring, so FYI on that. It didn't bother me, evaporated away quickly and didn't leave any rings behind on my dinner table. I really like this set. Neutral earthy colors, nice hefty weight, looks great. I love it.

I love this set! The dishes are sturdy and beautiful; the perfect combo of modern and rustic. I have only one complaint and that is the paint on the mugs. On every mug there are dripping marks, only on one side, it's a bit of an eyesore, but wouldn't deter me from getting more mugs because I love the shape, the weight and if turned around, the drips aren't visible! I have put all the dishes in the dishwasher a few times now and I am happy to say no changes to the exposed stone, which was my biggest concern when I decided to buy this set. For the price and quality I will be buying another set!

The collection is beautiful, but heavy for everyday use. Another problem is that the underside is porous, so I have to be extra careful not to scratch my wooden table and marble countertops. Unfortunately, they will soon be replaced by something lighter and entirely enameled.

This is a beautiful 16 piece setting. My only complaint with this is the packaging. The cardboard outer box in which they shipped it didn't say fragile though it did mention what was inside. So I suspect it wasn't handled very delicately and due to that one of the dinner plates were broken. It probably would have helped if they had put some bubble wrap for padding instead of only cardboard. The set however is very beautiful. It is glazed half way and the bottom part is unglazed painted stoneware. It has speckles and looks lovely. The plates are much lighter than other stoneware I have and I love that it's lighter. The set contains 4 dinner plates, 4 salad plates , 4 cups and 4 bowls. They are microwave safe but it does mention it may get hot in the microwave which is normal for stoneware.

Dishes were beautiful but smashed in pieces. The packaging to ship this items was a JOKE. There was absolutely no padding and BOTH sets of my dishes broken. How do they expect dishes to arrive intact when they are not packed to ship properly. I enjoyed my one bowl. Thank you Walmart! Customer service was FABULOUS and handled the situation properly with a refund for both sets.
