Love the bamboo . Great quality, design changed from other one I bought, a few years ago. This design gives you a complete flat bottom. There was a rim, not needed. This is sturdy and flat on the bottom. Whatever your need for this, it's worth it to purchase it. You'll want more.
This waste basket is so pretty I'm thinking about using it for something more decorative. It's a very solid functional piece. But it is also quite ascetically pleasing. I don't want to put it on the floor out of sight. I'm thinking of decorating it and making it into a centerpiece.
Using in my master bath. Love the look. It is a small trash container so I am emptying once a week for sure.
Elevates the style of a bathroom with costing a fortune. I was surprised how much of a difference it made.
I love the earthy look of this bamboo trashcan. I consider it the perfect fit for my small space. It arrived, however, disjointed and unusable without repair. Shipping was probably to blame, as it was not packed properly and was loose in a box. A bit of wood glue should fix it, but for the price it should be solid for use. I'm still debating returning it or being patient and rebuilding it.
I like the look. However, be aware that if you order more than one, they will cram them together and the bottom one will break all apart in shipping. I returned the broken one and they say they replaced it. USPS said they put it in one of the package boxes at our community mailboxes, but I haven't seen it yet. As far as I know, it's MIA. If still a no show today, I'll go to Walmart and see about a credit. Treat it gently - very fragile!
Here's the thing... I like useful and attractive wooden things. I find they look more natural in a space than other materials. I do, also, like stainless steel. This trash bin will hold small trash items, for sure. But it has a lack-luster look and no weight to it. I doubt it will stand the test of time, as the saying goes, cuz it looks glued and like it was made in a hurry. All that being said, I'll keep it, use it until it falls apart. I'm just hoping that'll be a while. It's not like a thing to toss around or kick at it cuz you for sure would break it. I believe it's too expensive. Hey, I'm not trying to be uppity. I just like to own things I know are gonna last a good while. Wooden objects, even bamboo, tend to be hefty. This waste basket...well...I already said. I'm disappointed. Hey, such is life.
Arrived with no cracks or gaps in the seams. But the finish is not complete - other bamboo items from BHG have a smooth, lightly lacquered finish with more depth to the appearance of the grain. Mine has the rough sanding completed but the final smooth sanding was not done and there is no lacquer or shine to the item. Therefore it has a lighter color of raw bamboo. Since I am handy and have the time I will use a pad sander on it and finish with oil or furniture polish. This will make it very resistant to moisture and stains. The other bamboo items I bought from BHG had a nice finish that was comparable to most natural bamboo finishes of these products. I would give one star and return it if this item was not so competitively priced.
I bought 3 of them and all 3 came broken. I'm talking the corners are fully not attached so the bin was literally in 4 pieces. Then the others had full separations horizontally on some pieces along with the corners not attached. It was insane there seemed to be no quality control at all bc how could they have thrown 3 bins in the box and taped it up when they were literally falling apart. The box arrived with no damages at all.
It has a clearance tag for 11.00 when I was charged 16.60, and it is literally falling apart. Cracked edges don't line up, and it's WAY smaller than I expected.
