I love my Better Homes & Gardens Bamboo Tile Step-Out Bath Mat. This mat gives my bathroom a more zen feel, while keeping my floor dry. I love that it does not get soaking wet like other types of bath mats. This mat is comfortable to step out onto and to stand on. The back of the mat is skid resistant, and it grips well to my bathroom floor. I have been using it daily for about two weeks and it has not slipped once. I like that this mat is easy to wipe down when cleaning it. In fact, I like it so much I plan on buying one for in front of my shower stall as well.
The Better Homes & Gardens Step-Out Bath Mat is really great. It definitely is different as I had never seen one like this before. It did feel a bit weird in the beginning and I was a bit apprehensive when stepping out of the shower the first time. However, I was really surprised that it was not slippery at all. I made sure to check multiple times and every single time the mat has held up well. I have not slipped once. It does make a clicking sound it seems as you walk on it or step on it. Obviously it will make noise as it is made with real bamboo wood and I have tile floors. It is a good 18 inches W and 30 inches L so it does cover a good section right outside of my bathtub. The backside has rubber pads that prevents it from moving around much. You might see some movement of the mat because of it's tile design, but nothing significant. It doesn't stay wet either. Soon after getting out of the shower the mat dries up quickly and I do not notice any remaining water on the mat or under. The small tiles and color look really nice and it gives my bathroom a nice modern look. It goes with a lot of different restroom themes very well. I did notice that when I pulled it out of the box it had a strong odor, but it has to be from the bamboo. After putting it in my bathroom I didn't notice any more odor. Overall this is a nice design , I like it a lot!
I absolutely dislike the soggy mats that happen after my kids step out of the bath. This is a game changer for that dislike. These are not slippery at all. They appear to be water resistant and add a nice look to the bathroom. Absolutely recommend.
This bamboo tile floor mat is exquisite! The wood grain is absolutely beautiful. It feels so smooth, like stepping right out of your shower or tub and into a spa. I placed my mat on a water absorbing rug, to catch water runoff; but the mat does have non-skid areas securely attached to the back. So you never need to worry, about it sliding around on a smooth bathroom floor. I am very happy with this bamboo bath mat! It's just that extra bit of pampering I need after a long day!
This is a good bath mat for homes without children in the bathroom, as it can be a bit slippery. It stays in place pretty well, but is also cold on the feet. If you have your tub right next to your toilet thr way we go it offers no comfort for your feet. Getting out of the shower is OK because usually you take a warm shower . The design is see through so be sure you have durable flooring because if not the sun coming through may discolor it. Overall loojs nice and is functional.
I love bamboo bath mats and my old one (from a different brand) had recently broken. I was getting ready to look for a new one when I came across this one by Better Homes & Gardens. It is meant to be on the OUTSIDE of a tub/shower. BH&G has textured tabs on the back that hold the mat into place. Of course if someone wanted to slide on it on purpose, they probably could. However, for normal use, it stays in place. I like stepping out of the shower onto the mat because: 1) It is not cold (like the bare floor). 2) It is not fuzzy. (I don't like fuzzy on my feet when they are wet--we have pets, which means little fur can get anywhere, but especially on fuzzy surfaces. Then it would stick to my wet skin.) 3) It doesn't trap moisture nor does it contribute to mold/mildew. I recommend this bamboo step-out bath mat!
I really love this bamboo bath mat. The quality is great, the assembly look very solid. The finish is nice. I like the color and the pattern of the bamboo pieces. It looks really nice in our bathroom. Our bathroom has slate tile and this bamboo bath mat makes my bathroom looks like spa. Calming, natural, organic. I also like it that this mat not too thick. I am able to open and close my bathroom door without any problem.
The bamboo mat is sturdy and thick. Behind it has non-skid backing that prevents it from moving. I recommend not using it where the tub is becoming between the bamboo, there is little spaces that water can run through. I use it where my sink, vanity is. It is stylish and feels very spa-like. Overall, I think this product works fine for its purpose, but I recommend it to not have spaces between the bamboo. It is very easy to wipe clean and stays cleaner than the cotton-type mats.
I normally use the basic bath mat and when I seen this i had to try it out. It looks nice and modern. I like the look and it has rubber pieces on the bottom to keep it from moving around. With it being made out of bamboo you have no worries about it molding or anything like that. It is different than using a normal bath mat. I like the feel of getting out of the shower and my feet being on the soft rug but with this you drip right off. It is still a nice feeling and no slipping. I would think you need to keep something under it as it was still wet underneath the next morning. My kids do keep playing with it and afraid they will be it's demise but so far so good.
Ok so I love this mat and I love how it goes with my bathroom. Only thing is that you need to be almost completely dry before you step on it or either move it before you get in the tub or lay a towel over it. It has little grooves that water will go right on the floor. It does have grippers on the back and it will not slide out from under you. I would recommend this as long as it was known that water would still get on the floor unless you covered it, laid a towel under it, dried off completely or moved it out the way and put it back when you were done.
