Its not one of those beach blankets that you feel like you're sitting in a puddle after being in the water. Soaks up moisture well. And it's very pretty with a great strap to carry it if you don't use a bag.

It’s a nice thickness. I also love the size of the blanket. It’s a nice 6x6 feet. Plenty of room! The blanket comes with a nice carrying strap too for convenience.
