Better Homes & Gardens Bradford Wooden Base Modern Swivel Accent Chair, Dark Espresso Faux Leather

I was looking at these exact swivel chairs for about twice the price on another website- so glad I found these instead! They are solid , well made, and super comfortable - I was a little concerned about the wood base, as I saw some images where the wood base looked like a bunch of different wood strips glued together, but ours are a beautiful and continuous dark brown. My husband is 5'11", and he finds them very comfortable as well. Unlike the off-white, which seems to be a linen weave, the gray fabric is more like a raised chenille, which I really like, and seems very durable. As they are very streamlined, I could see, as one reviewer mentioned, they might looked dwarfed next to oversized furniture, but not a problem next to our sectional. Could not be more pleased.

These chairs were exactly what I was looking for. Perfect size for grown adults (many online swivels are seriously undersized!) The “leather” doesn’t have that weird faux leather patterning, and bonus they came fully assembled TWO days after ordering them!! Highly recommend!

Arrives fully assembled. You just need to pull it out of the box. They look great. Not sure yet if they would be great for heavy use, but where we have them, they should be used minimally. Very comfortable.

These chairs are so beautiful and comfortable, which is a rare combination to find. Chairs were already put together, so no assembly really needed and they were packaged really well.

I love this chair!!! it looks higher quality, and the price is amazing. I put it in my home office and I’m looking forward to reading many great books there. It’s soft and good cushioning. The picture with just the chair is how it looks right now in my office and the second picture is an AI representation of how I want my office finished with the white bookcase.

This chair is such a great addition to my daughter’s bedroom. It blends in with the existing decor perfectly. The chair is sturdy, soft and comfortable. The swivel stand is very stable also. The chair feels “springy” when seated. And spins 360 degrees. The fabric is soft and durable plus easy to clean with soap and water.

First I truly appreciate that this chair comes fully assembled. It fits an average adult comfortably without being oversized in the space. Swivel turns as expected requiring a slight effort to move without being so loose it would move on its own or would allow for easily spinning round and round in circles. That may be especially important in homes with young children who would be tempted to try to use this chair as a playground ride LOL. I like that it has a relatively low profile so it doesn't block windows, wall hangings, or other furniture that might be placed behind it. I'm using mine in front of a window in my den and I love that I can watch television and then easily pivot to look at something outside the window or turn to face others who might be in the room for easier conversation. It is also firm with tall, sloping arms and a back rest that comes to about mid back/below the shoulders so it promotes a comfortable posture and sitting position for hours of seated relaxation. The chair cushion is removable and reversible so it is easy to clean and maintain that fresh brand new appearance. Sits on a strong, sturdy wooden base so it is sure to last a long time while also providing a contemporary look to any room.

I have been wanting these chairs for a year and finally decided to purchase them once they were back in stock. They have updated the look of my room and are made very well for the price. The seat is deep enough to allow a pillow and they are comfortable.

I ordered ‘linen’. The chair is well packaged in a heavy duty cardboard box. The box sustained a bit of damage, but the chair was packaged well inside, and unharmed. I would give this five stars, but if I’m being VERY picky, I would say the seat back where the cushion sits on it its base needs a bit more support underneath. I am not a large person, but this might be an issue if I was a large person. I added a bit of support under the cushion to help this issue. It looks light in the pictures, but the fabric is a neutral, oatmeal beige . A very nice addition!

The box arrived damaged (with the shipping company- FedEx or Walmart, trying to cover it up by taping a large piece of cardboard over the damage. The chair arm was completely shattered, and the back was bent weirdly by whatever had damaged the box. I couldn't do the FedEx return- because the box was completely damaged and they wouldn't have picked it up. When I tried to get help from the Chat with Walmart feature, the response wasn't helpful (see photo). When I tried to go through Allstate (as the Chat told me to), they said the manufacturer's warranty still covered the chair (so Walmart??? Seriously????) Talk about a complete scam... This is the last time I'm ordering furniture of any kind from Walmart if this is the kind of back and forth I have to deal with. Now, I'm stuck with trying to load this extremely heavy chair (57.32 pounds) into my SUV to try to return it to the store. Seriously? This is not what a Mom of 4, woman in perimenopause, and Walmart member needs. I guess I'm back to Pottery Barn and their white glove service.
