Better Homes & Gardens Copper Stoneware 16-Piece Dinnerware Set by Dave & Jenny Marrs

I really love my better homes and garden 16 set dinnerware. The set can be used all year round. The set comes in a beautiful copper color that matches my decor and is a perfect color for the fall season. The set has 4 dinner plates, 4 salad plates, 4 dessert plates, and 4 bowls. The pieces are not too heavy and do not feel like a cheap quality set. I am hoping to purchase other matching serving pieces.

This set of Better Homes & Gardens dinnerware is fantastic for less than $3.50 per piece. The dishes are NOT lightweight and I love the unglazed clay surface on the bottom. Both the dinner plates and the salad plates are flatter than most plates are, but they have this cool lip around the perimeter that holds in the food better than traditionally-shaped plates. The shape of the dinner bowls is much more useful and the cereal bowls are deeper than they appear in pictures. Overall, the shape of these dinnerware pieces is great. I have used a stainless-steel scrubber (aka Chore Boy) on the glazed surface on this dinnerware and it does not scratch. In fact, I really need to use only my scrubby sponge to clean ‘em. (We don’t have a dishwasher in our mountain cabin where these dishes are used.) We don’t know who the heck Doug & Jenny Marrs are; we liked the appearance of these dishes so that’s why we got ‘em and we are VERY pleased. I highly recommend this dinnerware set!

This Dave & Jenny Marrs by Better Homes and Gardens Dinnerware Set is gorgeous! It comes with 4 dinner plates (10.5" diameter), 4 salad plates (8.35" diameter), 4 dinner bowls (8.15" diameter, 35.85 oz), and 4 cereal bowls (6" diameter, 28.74 oz). The color is a beautiful earthy neutral orange with a sandy gray stone accent around the rim and bottom of each plate and bowl. There is also a cute raised leaf accent on the stone part of each dish. These are so versatile- perfect for every day use as well as special occasion dinner parties, and even for Thanksgiving or other holidays! They are dishwasher and microwave safe, making them durable and easy to take care of. The only negative I can think of is the texture of the stone material that is on the bottom of the dishes. It is really rough and not glazed, and has a very wierd texture that bothers my sensory sensitivities. This is purely a personal preference- I just don't like how it feels. But I do love how rustic and high end they look! I'd highly recommend these stunning, high quality dishes!

I'm really enjoying this set. All 16 pieces were there. The box said 30lbs on it. And all the dishes individually are indeed heavy. The look kinda reminds me of the old school terracotta pots. Very Midwestern looking in my opinion. I don't normally like that look but the plates are just to high grade to worry about that. The cereal bowls are super deep. Which I never seen before. So we're loving that. And they have this lightly rough stone half way down on the bowl. And makes it look a lot better. Same for the soup bowls. The salad plates are the perfect size for our small children to use for dinner plates. The normal dinner plates seem bigger than the size stated. Very nice. They are big enough for the food not to touch when plating. Huge bonus for me. And the rounded edges stop food from sliding off and those last few bites easier to get. All plates also have stone bottom and sides. I also appreciate being able to find a 16 piece set without coffee cups. Those end up being useless in our house. So it's nice to find a set where absolutely everything is used. And the smooth coating on the insides/tops of the dishes is super smooth. They completely rinse off after dinner with just a couple seconds of water. Nothing sticks. Very high quality dinnerware set.

Wow! This set is just beautiful. It's copper on the top and beige on the bottom. The size of the plates and the bowls are perfect for serving many different types of meals. There are 4 of each which gives you a full 16 piece set. They are nice and heavy also.

I am absolutely obsessed with that dishes! It’s such a breath of fresh air to get a dishes set that includes only what I need! Large plates for those big meals and smaller plates for better portion control. Dinner bowls that are perfect for pastas and bowls for cereals and soups. These dishes are perfect for any meal and are dishwasher and microwave safe! I love the stoneware feel without the price.

these are really nice quality dishes. i got one set as a gift and then purchased two more. they are dishwashers safe a huge plus in my book. they are so stylish you can use everyday or for a dinner party with friends. only thing I'd like to see is some matching serving dish that match.

The dinnerware is made of durable stoneware and everything is dishwasher and microwave safe.

Got this Better Homes and Garden 16 piece dinnerware set by Dave and Jenny Marrs. I enjoy watching their show on TV and really like their design style. This ceramic dinnerware set reflects that as well! It is a pretty copper pattern and has an autumn vibe. Looking forward to setting the table with this set!

Package had some weight to it, stoneware arrived in perfect condition. Inside of plates and bowls is a soft glaze, exterior is a rough stoneware feel which may be tough to get stains off or scratch interiors of cabinet shelves. Dishes are heavy so if you have sore or weak wrists be cautious. Pretty set, I’ll use mostly for entertaining guests on the occasion not for everyday use in this house. Makes a pretty table set and holds heat or cool depending on dish served.
