The color is a weathered tannish color which was perfect for what I was wanting. It is on the country side in regard to style. Sturdy and attractive! I love this desk!

"Ease" given a 4 star because the right side panel for the drawer did not have the holes pre drilled. I didnt notice until the end....time to put the drawer together. I drilled holes myself rather than contact the company and having to wait for a new wood piece with holes.

I LOVE THIS DESK, IT IS EVERYTHING I WAS HOPING FOR, IT IS STURDY AND STRONG. I AM A 64 YEAR OLD WOMAN, AND LIVE IN A VERY TINY TRAVEL TRAILER AND NEEDED A CERTAIN SIZE, AND THIS FIT THE AREA PERFECT. I NOT ONLY GOT IT IN MY TRAILER BY MYSELF BUT PUT IT ALL TOGETHER BY MYSELF, THE DIRECTIONS AND PARTS ARE SO WELL MARKED IT ONLY TOOK ME ALITTLE OVER TWO HOURS. I COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW FAST IT WENT. I ALSO HAVE THE SIDE TABLE WITH A DRAWER TO MATCH. MY AREA MAY BE SMALL BUT IT LOOKS SO PRETTY NOW. LIVING IN A SMALL RV EVERYTHING HAS TO SERVE SEVERAL THINGS, SO THIS DESK IS SPACIOUS ENOUGH TO BE THE TV STAND, MY LAPTOP DISK, MY DINNING TABLE, AND A SEWING TABLE WHEN NEEDED. SO ONCE AGAIN LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS DESK.

It looks even better in person. It was packed very well - there was not even a scratch on it. It was easy to put together, and I would buy the other pieces that match it. It also came with a card to get a free years subscription to Better Homes and Gardens!

This desk is gorgeous. It was easy to put together. It took me and my daughter about an hour. It is sturdy and fits perfectly in my small space. I love my new desk. I hsve an all in one desk top and a printer on top and there is still room to write.

I'm very happy with this desk. I think it's a great value and it doesn't look cheap. We found it easy to put it together and the directions were simple to read. I'm glad I took the chance and ordered it.

Item came well packaged. Very clear instructions to make for an easy assembly. For the price, it's a solid buy, sturdy and good looking. I've purchased this desk, a nightstand, and a bookshelf in this same finish. Saving up now for the dresser!

For the money, I was very pleased with this purchase. It looks really nice. Purchased it for my daughter's college apartment and everyone couldn't believe it was only $149. The only drawbacks are it is timely to put together and you have to be careful manhandling it when you move it around. It took us about 4 hours total to build it but is impressive that a mom and daughter novice furniture builders were able to figure it out with their instructions, lots of pieces. It looks very sturdy and seems to be, except when we went to move it the top popped off from the pressure we were putting on it as we picked it up. We were able to hammer it back into place but made a mental note to be careful when moving it next time! You get what you pay for, but for our purposes and for how it looks, we are extremely pleased.

This desk has been the most frustrating piece of furniture I've ever come across. There are 100s of pieces and the instructions are difficult to understand. It has been sitting 1/2 assembled, for more than a month, coming apart where it is most difficult to get back together. I am ready to scream.
