Better Homes & Gardens Dark Gray Square-Shaped Stoneware Cereal Bowl

Better Homes and Garden's ceramic stoneware.  Square Bowl Measures: The 5.5 inch square bowl is 3 inches deep.   It is a perfect size for a side salad, soup, or cereal.   It easily holds 2 cups of soup and up to 3 cups if you want to fill it to the rim. Color: The top glaze makes the underlying colors beautifully vary in shading. The charcoal gray with a mottled (small black spots) finish makes a rich tone and expensive looking table statement.   Shape: To me, the square shape is kind of unique in dinnerware. Like you see at a restaurant. The dish is both safe for dishwasher use as well in the microwave. I like how the dishes do not get hot in the microwave - the food does but the dish itself does not which is nice. The stoneware is heavier than normal china and feels very durable / not easy to chip with daily use. Accompanying plates, cups, and bowls are also available if you want make a complete whole place setting.

I am reviewing the Better Homes and Gardens dark gray square shaped dinner bowl. I love this bowl and actually use it for my side dishes, it is large enough! The modern look of this collection is very appealing and the quality is second to none. The collection is microwave and dishwasher safe as well. Five stars! Love this bowl.

This square, bowl is my new favorite!! I use it for cereals and soup. I love the square shape with rounded edges. Its a beautiful dark charcoal gray with a speckled print and smooth finish. It feels very sturdy and has a decent weight to it. The matching salad plate is great for placing the bowl on and carrying hot cereals and soups from microwave / counter to table. And its stylish to so it makes a nice presentation.

This is a nice bowl. The bowl is heavy so the bottom will scratch your table if you aren't careful. It washed good in the dishwasher. When I microwaved it the bowl got pretty hot. Overall a good bowl. I like the shape of it also. The picture is actually the bottom of the plate but it is the same.

OK for an every day set. This is the cereal bowl not dinner bowl. The finish is a little spotty inside with some light spots. Otherwise it's a good looking finish similar to granite. Capacity is about 26oz. The bottom ridge seems to be unglazed and a little rough.

I love the design of these bowls and Ive ordered many times as I use these in my business. I wish they came packaged better, because each shipment I receive with at least 1/4 to 1/2 of the bowls broken.

Bowl is good

So I had high hopes for this dish. But it arrived broken, probably because it was wrapped poorly in the box for shipping. The color is great, but the dish is very heavy. I would have thought the dish would be more sturdy considering the weight. You need to have a lot of room in your cabinets to hold a set like this. Not very practical.

Was excited to receive these since the print is beautiful and I love the design. But received all mine broke into pieces. The only one that wasn't broke is cracked so completely unusable. Super disappointed. Don't recommend unless you're going to the store to pick them up yourself.
