This fan is amazing!! We've had some warm nights recently, and this fan has been a lifesaver. It has so many features and functions. The fan levels go from 1-12, there is a display for the rooms' temp built in, the angle of the fan turns can be adjusted between 60, 99, and 120 degrees, the fan head oscillates around in a circle to get air in all directions, and the fan can be rotated to point into the air or forward. When he fan is powered off, it automatically returns to the starting position. There's a smart memory mode to remember preferred settings. And the best part, it can be controlled remotely with a remote control so there's no need to get out bed to change things if it's located far from bed. I love this fan and would highly recommend.
I received this fan free to do a review on. When I received it, my first thought was how nice it looked. It to me has that space age look. It has a very sleek appearance . At first, I tried to read the directions. Truthfully, I had to get my magnifying glass to read the instructions. The writing is so tiny. The only problem I found. The fan is a little complicated to learn to operate at first, but once I figured it out, I found this fan to be the boss of fans that I own with the exception of one tower fan that I own. I love that the fan can be adjusted up and down so that air can be moved from the floor or the ceiling. I also love that the oscillation portion will rotate not only back and forth, but around and around at the same time. It has a timer which is nice. Also, you can set the oscillation to be set for three different angles. This can also be set with the remote control which is a very nice feature as well. In other words, the fans settings can be set on the base of the fan or by remote. I think I failed to mention that the speed settings are nice and this fan puts out a lot of air. I love this fan and highly recommend it to anyone wishing to purchase a very productive table top type fan. I hope that this review helps someone with a purchase decision.
The look of this fan is very stylish and modern looking. With it's combination of white and black colors. The fan makes a very attractive part of my home furnishing. This fan is compact and light wight. With an easy to carry handle located on the back of the fan. I like the fact that base of the fan oscillates to the right and left. To give a large area of air flow. The top or head of the fan oscillates in a circular motion. To increase the area of flow for the fan. You can set the to of the fan to any angle you want. To get the perfect setting for wherever you want the air flow to go. On the base of the fan is where the controls are located. With a small viewing screen to see the setting your programming into the fan. This fan has many setting you can set. Such as. You can set the fan to run up to twelve hours at a time. The fan motor has up to twelve different speeds it can be set for. From a gentle breeze to a strong wind force. That can be felt up to thirty three feet away. This fan also comes with a remote control. That has every function that's on the main control panel. The setting from the remote control shows up on the settings screen on the control panel of the base of the fan. For it's size this is a very powerful and strong fan. I'm looking forward to using this fan in my home all year round for moving air around in my home.
The Better Homes & Gardens DC Digital Turbo Air Circulator Oscillating Fan with Remote is small, perhaps no larger (probably even a smidge smaller) than the tabletop oscillating fan I used to use in the kitchen on hot summer days; however, it packs a lot of "oomph" into its compact footprint. It can be controlled either via the touch panel on the base of the fan itself, or via the remote control (powered by a AAA battery, not included). The removable power cord incorporates a power brick midway along the cord, and ends in a small polarized plug (so none of the other plug-ins on the outlet plate or surge protector will be obstructed by this cord). The fan can be positioned to circulate air out across a room, up to cool the hot air rising towards the ceiling without blowing loose items about, or at any angle in between. The fan can be either stationary or oscillating while in operation, and can operate at various speeds. At its top speed, this BH&G fan seems to be far more powerful than the cheap fans I've used in past summers to help cool my older home, perhaps on a par with the very powerful fans I've eyed (but couldn't afford) at the local hardware store -- but it's far quieter while doing its job. This will be perfect for cooling my upstairs craft room this summer -- and I may "borrow" it for use in the kitchen on major cooking days, too. Highly recommended!
This fan blows air efficiently enough IF you can get it to stay plugged into the fan….. it's an odd cord that is not attached to the fan base itself and continually pulls out and cuts off. The design of the fan was not well thought out!!! IF you get it plugged in an working DON'T touch it or it will but off! A box fan would have been a better choice!
This is a very cool (no pun intended) little fan. Even at a relatively low speed, it moves a lot of air. I have it set up against the opposite wall from an A/C vent to blow the cold air back into the rest of the house. It works fantastic. I must say, it has a bunch of features that I'm still figuring out and many more that I don't use. For instance, I don't use the remote since I don't really make any changes other than to turn it on and off. I might use the timer at some point but I haven't yet. It has an “up and down” rotation as well as the standard side to side sweep. I can see that that could be useful in some circumstances but I haven't found it necessary. Bottom line: I love it.
This fan is AWESOME! Comes with a remote, you can set a timer even. Works for cold and warm air, SUPER quiet. Takes a little bit to get used to all the controls, need to have the directions handy until you get the hang of it. Has 12 different speed settings and a whole lot of oscillating options.
Wow! This fan is the ultimate! It has a remote. It has a variable sweep motion up to 120 degrees. It also has an option for vertical and horizontal motion. It has an auto timer shut off and a thermostat. It is built solid and and is attractive. It's stable when placed on table or flat surface. The controls are easy to reach and very intuitive. It is also quiet! It is really a impressive fan and a solid value.
This item is about 10 inches in diameter and stands right at 16 inches tall with a very stable base. It has a remote control and can be manually adjusted vertically. The design also incorporates a nifty handle feature. There are adjustments for running time and speed. There is a very unique feature in addition to the oscillation horizontally. The fan rotates within the housing to give a different directional force of air. It is really quite refreshing.
I work at home and my office tends to get really warm - the best way to cool it is a fan just outside my door to push in cooler air. Most fans are just too loud and annoying, but this is big enough and can run slow enough to move significant air at whisper quiet levels.
