Better Homes & Gardens Emerson Curvy Accent Chair, Ochre Velvet

These chairs are stunning! Modern, neutral, and great quality for the price! Accent chairs can run so expensive and these were very affordable and I’m so pleased with how they look in my sitting room. Seats are deep and cushions are on the firmer side and aren’t removable but the fabric is beautiful. Overall very happy!

This is just the cutest chair. I was looking for a chair in this exact color (ochre - a deep gold). I love the shape, color and appears to be of good quality. It isn’t going to get much use being in the corner of my bedroom (mostly to hold all my pillows I take off my bed at night but maybe I will pull it out when I want to watch tv in there. Price point was also good. Very happy.

We placed this in our formal family room paired with a brown leather Chesterfield, and it works surprisingly well together. The curved design softens the look of the leather and adds contrast without clashing. The olive color is muted and a little more refined in person, so it doesn’t compete with darker furniture but still adds something visually. Build feels solid once assembled, and the fabric has held up well so far with regular use. No wobbling, no loose areas. It looks clean and structured, which fits better in a more formal space. Comfort is good for an accent chair. It’s more upright and supportive rather than something you sink into, but that actually works better for the room we’re using it in. Size is also right—it adds presence without taking over the space. Overall, it’s one of those pieces that helps tie a room together. It doesn’t feel like a budget chair once it’s in place, especially paired with more classic furniture.

Great for the price, perfect for staging. Nice rich ochre color, not too tiny, an actual human can sit in this chair. Not excessively comfortable for daily use, but looks nice and is a great value for the price! We will see how well they hold up. I also bought a pair in the olive green color, they nice amd neutral without being beige.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this chair. It elevates any space, giving off a luxury vibe for a great price. Seems sturdy, though ours are used mostly for appearances. Not sure how the velvet would hold up under heavy use. Still, I'd buy again in a heartbeat!

A trendy and cute chair that could be used many different ways. I have mine at a desk (also from Walmart) and while the back is a bit low for actual computer work, I don’t use this space often and wanted something more decorative. The chair came fully assembled which was nice, but the box was a chore to break down. The overall quality is great but the soft blue color is a bit more gray than pictured. I will also note that I got this on sale for about 35% off which felt much more fitting than the full price point.

Overall I would recommend this chair based on the cost and quality. It’s a perfect corner accent chair and is stunning and sturdy. Took away one star due to the lack of cushion otherwise, it’s perfect.

I really love the chair. The color is not too yellow mustard which I like. The only problem is the dent on a right arm rest. Shipping is fast, ordered yesterday and came in today.

Chair came with black oil spot on the side , and double sewn edge It takes forever for Walmart to answer their customer service lines. They make it very difficult. My third chair. I’ve ordered that is yet to be resolved. Not happy Walmart

This chair is great if you never sit in it! My 5 year old sits in it and the fabric is piled. It didn't even hold up to 6 months of use. Spent extra and buy a nicer chair with quality fabric It's also extremely light weight. So if someone larger it's in it and leans back it will flip.
