Very attractive, classy, looks a lot like marble so it fits into my shower, great drainage so my soap doesn't melt, sturdy with a thin (almost invisible) rubber base so it doesn't slide in the shower.

This soap pump from Better Homes and Gardens works like a charm. The dispenser has a good feel to it. It's heavy enough to feel substantial without overdoing it and the chrome plastic top is easy to clean and doesn't hold crud when wiped off. I was a little worried about the exterior of the dispenser because it almost has a porous soap stone kind of feel to it. On one hand that's great because it won't slip out of your hands like a smooth ceramic dispenser, but I was worried it might stain. However, I've been doing everything I can to stain it, clog it and break it with no luck at all. It can easily stand up to my abuse after coming in from the garage where I work on pretty much everything. The outside of the dispenser is a nice, light marble color that matches most decors without standing out excessively. We'd been using several of the plastic soap pumps from the soap manufacturers, but this is head and shoulders above on both looks and heft. This Better Homes pump doesn't slide out from under my greasy hands due to the foam rubber bottom that keeps it where I place it, and prevents the dispenser from scratching up the counter as well. My bride likes all the above, but also the fact that she can dispense the hand soap with just one hand if her other hand is full. The operation is easy and smooth, and when you're done the spout doesn't drip soap onto your counter like many of the others we've tried. The soap stops cleanly and the remainder in the dispensing tube stays put. Also, the amount of soap dispensed is perfect. We like the fact that with the Better Homes and Gardens dispenser we can save money using economical refills of soap instead of buying a new, but rather ugly, pre-filled plastic dispenser every time. Overall I'm very happy with this item. I don't usually get that excited about a household cleaning product, but this one does everything it needs to do and lacks nothing. Strong recommendation.

When I received this item I was pleasantly shocked at its size. It is overall around 10 inches tall. The capacity for soap is 1.5 times what a traditional dispenser would hold. So it is clearly not marble because marble is cool to the touch. However, one might be fooled because the item is QUITE heavy like marble and from a distance the paint job looks very realistic. On the bottom it has a non slip grip pad which is very awesome. When I first saw the pump spout I thought it was weird because it was straight and not bent down like a spigot. After filling it and using it though, it worked perfectly. The underside of the pump head seems to have an o-ring so I don't anticipate any leaking or clogs. Overall I am VERY pleased with the product, especially the ample size and weight.

This soap dispenser looks great and works great! The base is a faux marble that is grey and white with a little bit of sparkle to it. The pump has a smooth and shiny chrome finish. I love that it looks contemporary yet classic. When you lift it it feels very solid and heavy. The soap pump is smooth and the soap comes out very nicely. Don't press down too hard though as the soap comes out rather quickly and since the piece where the soap comes out from is perfectly horizontal instead of curved downwards it can shoot out pretty far. Overall, this seems like a great product that will last a long time. I received this product from the Spark Reviewer program.

I love both the look and the functionality of this soap dish. The magnets hold it together well, the soap doesn't get mushy it's very easy to clean.

this soap dish is very sturdy. it has a pad on the underside that keeps it from slippery. i highly recommend this product.

the soap dish is great for bathroom and kitchen. I like how it drains in the middle if you didn't take all the water out of tge Sponge .

I normally like this brand, and I loved the look and feel of this soap dish. It arrived cracked on the top, but I wasn't going to drive to Walmart just to exchange it, since it wasn't an issue to functionality. As time progressed, the crack continued to widen and it warped! Today, though, I went to clean the counter, and IT STAINED THE COUNTER BLACK! Don't buy this.

I ordered two of these soap dishes. One was packed in a broken condition. I know it wasn't broken in shipping because there would have been broken pieces in the package. There were none which proves it was packed in a broken condition. Unfortunately, it doesn't surprise me.
